Chapter 9-2 help


Stuck on chapter 9-2 there is a hanging basket cant reach it, have collected the wilderman on top of the crate. Then go into a church like window open the staircase but once down i cannot see any crates to put on top of the lever to keep it down so cannot get into the other door on the opposite side of the hall what do i do here please?
