The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D Cheats :
Glitch - Swordless Link Glitch / Any Item on Epona Glitch
The "Swordless Link Glitch" is in most people's opinions, the weirdest glitch in all of Ocarina of Time 3D. It allows you to play your game without having a sword equipped. It allows a few other very unique glitches to occur, including the "Any Item on Epona Glitch". I think the Swordless Link Glitch was discovered by Kazzoie. I'm not sure who found the Any Item on Epona Glitch. Here's how to do them:
Swordless Link Glitch (SLG):
Step 1: Go to Ganon's Tower and create a warp point using Farore's Wind anywhere before you reach the fight with Ganon when you have to deflect the magic at him. Then start the first phase of Ganon's fight. (The one that's inside before the castle collapses).
Step 2: Defeat the first phase of Ganon normally. Then escape the crumbling tower within the 3:00 time limit as normal. Then once the final phase of Ganon begins, allow Ganon to knock the Master Sword out of your hand, not that you have a choice or anything...
Step 3: Once you start the final phase of Ganon after he has knocked the Master Sword out of your hand, do the "Restricted Items Glitch" during the final boss fight using Farore's Wind to return to the warp point you had created before starting the first phase of fight with Ganon. Once you've done that, you can save your game while swordless, so that you won't have to do this entire glitch again all the way from Step 1! Once you've save your swordless game, you then exit out Ganon's Tower.
Any Item on Epona Glitch:
Step 1: When swordless, go out to Hyrule Field or any other place where you can ride Epona. Then mount her. (You may call by playing Epona's Song on the Ocarina if needed).
Now you can ride Epona while using any item you want! Except the normal Bow that you would normally use on Epona to shoot the Poes or something. Pressing B on Epona or off Epona won't do anything.
NOTE: If you look in your inventory, you will see no Master Sword at all in it, unless you quit after saving right after you used Farore's Wind to return to the warp point you had done during the final fight with Beast Ganon. Don't worry! Once you quit after saving and you later resume playing you Swordless Link save file, you will then have your Master Sword in your inventory, but it will still be unequipped until you equip either the Master Sword, the Broken Giant's Knife, or the Biggoron Sword.
NOTE: If you want to explore more with this glitch, because there is a lot of things you can do with this glitch, I HIGHLY recommend saving your swordless file because there are a lot of incidents where you will have to quit playing your swordless game because you get stuck somewhere! This way if you have to quit your swordless file before you have fulfilled your exploration quests, you won't have to do the glitch all over again because that takes a lot of time to do!
1.) Infinite Hookshot/Longshot Glitch - While on Epona while swordless, get out your Hookshot/Longshot and shoot at any target this is hookable and in range that is above Epona's head. If it's too low, like a fence on the ground, then when you dismount from Epona after having your Hookshot/Longshot clipped onto it, you will get stuck on the ground forever. Shoot at the target with you Hookshot/Longshot while still on Epona. Then once you've hooked the target, dismount from Epona. If done correctly, once you've dismounted from Epona, you will go flying straight up into the air and stay there at that same height non-stop forever. While floating in the air, you can still move around in all directions in mid-air.
CAUTION: You WILL be stuck forever if you land on a solid object with your feet while floating in the air with the Hookshot/Longshot and you will not be able to get unstuck unless you quit the game.
2.) Hookshot/Longshot Moonjump Glitch - Do the Infinite Hookshot/Longshot Glitch. Then once in the air with the Hookshot/Longshot, fly over to your hooked target and you should fly straight up in the air really high, then slowly fall back down. This can also be done with getting hit by an enemy while floating in mid-air with the Hookshot/Longshot. Keese or other flying enemies are REALLY good for this!
3.) Control Epona and Link Glitch - While swordless, get on Epona. Then ride around for a bit and then while she's running, start playing the Ocarina, use one of the 3 magic spells (Farore's Wind, Din's Fire, or Nayru's Love), or use any of the quest items that you get while doing the Biggoron's Sword Sub-Quest. If done correctly, you should then fall off of Epona. Then once you quit using the item or playing the ocarina, you should she the speed carrots at the top of the touch screen, see "Faster" replace the A button and the arrows are the B button. You know, the things you see while on Epona normally, but you will not be on Epona anymore. If you move, Epona moves in the same direction that you as Link moves at the same exact time. There are two different ways that this glitch can happen though. The first way is that the camera is on Link. The second way is that the camera is on Epona. You can't control who the camera is on. It happens at random I think, but the camera if mostly on Link. By pressing the A button while in this state, you will mount Epona. No matter where the two of you, you will still mount Epona. You are invincible in this state.
4.) Swim out of Bounds Glitch - While the Control Epona and Link Glitch is in effect, you can do one last glitch. To do this glitch, you simply go to any water source and get completely under water with you Iron Boots equipped. Then while touching the surface of the water with your Iron Boots equipped, simply press A to mount Epona when your underwater and about a split second later, remove the Iron Boots. If done correctly, you should then either fall into an empty void, or be swimming in an out of bounds. If you start falling into an empty void, you have a few seconds to fall towards a water source which shouldn't be that far from where you start falling. If you can make it to a water source before you fall down too far in the empty void, you will have just saved your life! However, if you try to swim to that empty void again, you will end up falling again!
I hope this helps!
