Secret - Defeat the Final Phase of Ganon Without a Sword?!

by GamingProdigy May 14, 2012

I found an easier way to defeat the final phase of the game's final boss: Ganondorf, or also known as: Ganon.

Once you defeat him inside his castle, Zelda mentions that the building is starting to collapse. You then have a set time limit to escape out the castle's gates or else you will be buried in the ruble. Once you manage to escape, you then think that you have beat the game, but think again. Suddenly you hear a strange noise in the ruble. Link then walks over there to see what it is and Ganon manages to free himself from all of the debris. He then knocks you Master Sword out of your hand and it nearly misses Princess Zelda. Then before you even have the chance to retrieve it, Ganon places a large, circular fire vortex around your fight and between you and your Master Sword. Then he transforms into Beast Ganon! Now you must fight him with the Biggorron Sword which you can get by finishing the correct side quest, which unfortunately, I did not complete so I didn't have any weapon to fight with except for my broken long sword. I tried everything I could to defeat him with! I tried Bombs, Arrows, Fire Arrows, Ice Arrows, Light Arrows, Deku Nuts, Bombchus, and even the Fire Magic! But nothing seemed to work. So I finally decided to try my broken long sword on him and what do you know... It actually worked on him!! I actually defeated him by only using my broken long sword until the point where you can reclaim your Master Sword again! Of coarse it took longer, but it was much better than dying, i suppose! :)

Secret - Start a new game with the Master Sword

by honey baby Jul 05, 2011
This actually works two ways. You can start the game with Young Link with the Master Sword, OR the Kokiri Sword depending on two things. This is extremely simple. You have to at least have Adult Link and Epona for this to work. Go to Hyrule Field. Call Epona. Get on Epona. Now..if you would like to start a new game with the Master Sword, equip the BigGoron Sword. If you would like to start the game with the Kokiri Sword, equip the Master Sword. Now make sure once your on Epona, do not get off her. Save the game, and press Quit. Now..start a new game. Once your able to walk around, press B to swing your sword, and you'll either have the Master Sword or the Kokiri Sword. Now..it will not SHOW that you have the Master Sword OR the Kokiri Sword in your inventory, or on your equipped items. I've noticed that while your holding the Master Sword, Mido does not let you through to the Deku Tree. Instead, go and get the Kokiri Sword in the Treasure Chest like your supposed to, and he will let you through. You do not have to equip the Kokiri Sword you find in the Treasure Chest if you do not want to. But if you do, your glitched weapon will be gone. The glitched Master Sword doesn't have a spin attack either, so I wouldn't suggest using it all game. It's just something cool to try out.

Unlockable - Unlock Boss Challenge

by Bigddy12112 Jun 21, 2011

When you grow up, and before talking for the second time to Sheik on the Time Temple to learn the Prelude of light, she will tell you that in your home you can rest to revive past battles. That means you have unlocked Boss challenge to fight each boss in the game (after you had beat them in the story) in your house. To unlock the last challenge (all bosses one after another) you have to beat them all in the challenge mode.

Glitch - Swordless Link Glitch / Any Item on Epona Glitch

by GamingProdigy Dec 04, 2012

The "Swordless Link Glitch" is in most people's opinions, the weirdest glitch in all of Ocarina of Time 3D. It allows you to play your game without having a sword equipped. It allows a few other very unique glitches to occur, including the "Any Item on Epona Glitch". I think the Swordless Link Glitch was discovered by Kazzoie. I'm not sure who found the Any Item on Epona Glitch. Here's how to do them:

Swordless Link Glitch (SLG):

Step 1: Go to Ganon's Tower and create a warp point using Farore's Wind anywhere before you reach the fight with Ganon when you have to deflect the magic at him. Then start the first phase of Ganon's fight. (The one that's inside before the castle collapses).

Step 2: Defeat the first phase of Ganon normally. Then escape the crumbling tower within the 3:00 time limit as normal. Then once the final phase of Ganon begins, allow Ganon to knock the Master Sword out of your hand, not that you have a choice or anything...

Step 3: Once you start the final phase of Ganon after he has knocked the Master Sword out of your hand, do the "Restricted Items Glitch" during the final boss fight using Farore's Wind to return to the warp point you had created before starting the first phase of fight with Ganon. Once you've done that, you can save your game while swordless, so that you won't have to do this entire glitch again all the way from Step 1! Once you've save your swordless game, you then exit out Ganon's Tower.

Any Item on Epona Glitch:

Step 1: When swordless, go out to Hyrule Field or any other place where you can ride Epona. Then mount her. (You may call by playing Epona's Song on the Ocarina if needed).

Now you can ride Epona while using any item you want! Except the normal Bow that you would normally use on Epona to shoot the Poes or something. Pressing B on Epona or off Epona won't do anything.

NOTE: If you look in your inventory, you will see no Master Sword at all in it, unless you quit after saving right after you used Farore's Wind to return to the warp point you had done during the final fight with Beast Ganon. Don't worry! Once you quit after saving and you later resume playing you Swordless Link save file, you will then have your Master Sword in your inventory, but it will still be unequipped until you equip either the Master Sword, the Broken Giant's Knife, or the Biggoron Sword.

NOTE: If you want to explore more with this glitch, because there is a lot of things you can do with this glitch, I...

Glitch - Infinite Rupees Trick

by GamingProdigy Nov 15, 2012

Are you tired of slowly earning you wads of Rupees? Do you just wish that you can earn wads of Rupees for free with very little work? Well now you can! By doing the "Use Any Item Anywhere" glitch, you can get as many Rupees as you want, and here's how to do it:

Step 1: Enter Castle Town and go into the building where you play that treasure chest guessing game.

Step 2: Pay the small fine and work your way to the very last room, where you get the Piece of Heart from opening that chest the first time.

Step 3: Do the "Use Any Item Anywhere" glitch with having Farare's Wind.

Step 4: Use Farare's Wind to create a warp point in that very last room.

By creating a warp point in that last room, you can warp back there anytime you want to. Once you warp there, you will be in that last room, with the chest unopened. You open it up and get the Rupees, you can go backwards through all the doors to get even more Rupees!

Best of all, you get to play that game for free and there's no fear of losing because you don't even need the keys to go through the locked doors since you've already been through them!!

CAUTION: Every time you warp to the last room in that mini-game, the warp point will be removed, therefore you will not be able to warp there again! If you want to keep a warp point there, than once you've warped there and the warp point has been removed, you do the "Use Any Item Anywhere" glitch again to create a new warp point there.

I hope this helps!

Glitch - Use Any Item Anywhere Glitch

by GamingProdigy Nov 15, 2012

You know how some items can't be used in certain places? Well now you can use any item anywhere by doing this simple glitch:

Step 1: Enter an area in which you can use at least 1 item and where you can't use others. Ex. Hyrule Castle Town.

Step 2: Put one item that you can use on I, Y, X, or II.

Step 3: Switch that item out and replace it with an item that you can't use at the moment.

Step 4: As soon as you close the items screen, quickly press the button that you assigned to the restricted item multiple times until you use the item.

NOTE: This may take several tries. You have to do step 4 very fast, which make this glitch exceptionally hard, but it's still possible.

TIP: The easiest way to do this glitch is to have to unrestricted item be a bottle because you can use the bottle in just about any location.

Secret - (Secret) How to Get the Hat Off of the Fisherman

by Unregistered Jun 28, 2012

This is something I found while I was fishing on The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D

So to do this you have to stand by the sign (The one near the pond). Now try to aim for the fisherman (the one behind the counter).

If you cast the rod with the hat and it lands on the water......

You will just have to figure that out for yourself. =b

Glitch - Stuck on Fence With Epona

by GamingProdigy May 14, 2012

I found this very simple glitch by accident! The steps for how to do this glitch are listed below:

Steps:

1.) First, go to Lake Hylia and call Epona. Once she arrives, get on her and leave the lake. Proceed forward until you reach the wooden fence. Once there, while still on Epona, go to the left corner of the wooden fence and jump over it with Epona. But before you jump all the way across the fence, turn towards the stone pillar along side the wooden fence while in mid-air, If done correctly, Epona should have landed on top of the wooden fence with you still on her. You can't really move much while up there. In fact, you can't even get down at all!

**SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS GLITCH!!!!!! ONCE ON TOP OF THE FENCE, YOU CAN'T GET DOWN AT ALL!!! THE ONLY WAY TO ESCAPE THIS GLITCH IS TO TURN THE GAME OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN!!!!! I AM NOT AT FAULT FOR THE LOSS OF YOU GAME DATA IF YOU DO NOT SAVE THE GAME BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS GLITCH!!!!!**

*I am the founder of this glitch, or at least the first one that I've seen post it on the Internet.*

Thank you,

Secret - Skip Half of the Fire Temple

by GamingProdigy May 14, 2012

When I was playing through this game on the normal mode, I came to the boss of the dungeon. It was that big fire dragon that you had to hit with the Megaton Hammer (I can't remember her name). I used up all of my potions and/or Fairies and I died, so I left the Fire Temple to get more potions and Fairies. Once I bought more, I felt like exploring new areas that I can now access with using the Megaton Hammer on certain stones. So I did that with all of Hyrule Field. Then I came to the area behind where Jabu-Jabu was and talked to the Fairy Queen back there and I noticed the little floating chunks of ice above the water. I jumped over and snagged the Piece of Heart and I noticed this little cavern that I could now access. I jumped over there and enter the cavern. It said that I was in the Ice Cavern. I already knew what that was because I was using this online strategy guide from IGN.com. If you don't go there, you really should! They have full game reviews, videos, glitches/cheats, guides, and both text AND video walkthroughs! Anyways, I had previously read all about the Ice Cavern and so I knew that it was my next destination after the Fire Temple. So I went in and started to explore. Then I got my Iron Boots after I defeated the annoying Wolfos. I then left Ice Cavern and went on to the next temple, which was the water temple. When I entered the Water Temple, I still had not beaten the Fire Dragon back at the Fire Temple a while back. Then I met up with Sheik and she taught me the next song to play on my Ocarina of Time. So I found out that you don't have to beat the whole Fire Temple! You can leave once you get the Megaton Hammer. But there is one thing that you will not get for not finishing the Fire Temple... The Heart Container that you get from the death of the Fire Dragon! I also found out that you can beat the whole game without getting the Heart Containers from any of the bosses. It would take up a ton of skill to get through the whole game with only 3 Hearts though! I'm currently working on doing that right now! Right now I have 3 Hearts in total and I'm currently in the Spirit Temple with all 4 bottles filled with Fairies! It's really difficult to defeat the large metal guys in full armor when they deal on average 4 Hearts of damage per hit! That's a one-hit-kill for me!! Well, that's it for this glitch, which is more like a shortcut in the game!

Thank you,
