The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Hints

Like in the past Zelda games, there is the chicken attack, swarm, whatever you want to call it. First, try to corner a chicken where you can slash at it with your sword without letting the chicken escape. Start slashing the chicken. Eventually, the chicken will turn red and a whole mob of other chickens will attack you. If you want to escape this, enter a near by building.

When you're sailing in the sea, you might encounter some jellyfish. When you see one, stop the ship. Start shooting them with your cannon. You get 1 rupee everytime you hit them. The 1 jellyfish will split into two. Now, you can get 2 rupees at a time. The process will go on, and you'll make a lot of rupees!

1)Start at top left corner of the white corner pieces within the door.
2)Draw a line over 2 the top right corner.
3)Now draw a line from the top right corner 2 the bottom left corner.
4)Draw a line over 2 the bottom right corner.
5)Finish it off with a line to the top left corner and voila!!U have urself a sacred crest!!ho-pe this helps!:)

Travel to Mercay Islands. If you go southeast on the east side of the island, you will see a treasure chest. You cannot reach it by jumping. Find a chicken. There are two of them on the island. Go back to where you see the treasure chest. Back up slightly, then run up and jump. You should be able to reach the treasure chest then.

#1: Power. 10 gems=fire sword.
#2: Wisdom. 10 gems=if a monster hits you in the front, it gets dizzy
#3: Courage. 10 gems=sword that shoots electricity

After you talk to the big frog on Uncharted island go out to the sea and you will eventually find 6 golden frogs hoping out of the water. Shoot them with a cannon ball and they will hold up a sign, use your pen and draw that sign on the map, and then use your slate to draw that sign on the map where the frog was, if you draw the mark correctly a whirpool will come and fly you to that spot. There are 2 gold frogs in the Southwest, 2 frogs in the Southeast, 1 frog in the Northwest, and 1 frog in the Northeast.

Once you obitain the grappling hook,go to Mercay island.use the grapple on 2 cuccos that are far apart.do this and the may bash together if u stand between them and they damage you u are shure to have high flyers!

If you go to Mercay Isle and have ship parts you may custimize your ship. Just go to the house closest to the ships and talk to this guy inside. He will ask you if you want to custimize your ship. You can switch and match different parts for a stunning ship! When you set sail you will be using your custimized ship.

I'm going to tell you what is in the ocean:
x- whenever there is an x that's where you can find tresure ( most of the treasures are useally ship parts )
Girl- The girl moving in the sea, her name is Lineback and try not to go near her, because if you do she will attack! You defet her by trying to get to her back and attack it!
Ship- Whenever there's a ship it will useally be a guy that will test your sword fighting skills
Guy- It will be a guy in another ship that will maybe be selling some stuff
Fish- Whenever you see a fish on the map go there, you will see nothing, that's because you have to fish to find it!

In the Isle of Frost, you had to find the Yook in disguise. The Yook is pretending to be a person name Aroo. Aroo's home is the top in the middle of the homes. Go over to his house and accuse him of being a Yook.

On the Isle of the Dead, you'll find a pyramid shaped building. There is a maze in it, but how do you get out of it Here are the paths you have to take.

North, East, East, North, North

After you follow those directions, you will walk into a different room. The Knight Brant is there. Go up to the pedestal. You then get to speak with Brant. He'll open the door behind him. Inside the next room is the big chest. Open it and you'll get a Regal Necklace. You need this to enter the Isle of Ruins! You can now pass the cyclone and continue your adventure!

(I know this is a repeat, but I would like to explain it more in detail)

Collect 10 power gems. You go to that secret island near the bottom left corner in the southwest sea. Go to that Fairy Princess and pick Power. The Spirit of Power will regain some of its strength. Now, go to your "Collections". Chose the Spirit of Power (You'll see "Lv.1" in front of it) and then exit out of your "Collections" Swing your sword around and now, you'll see that your sword is on fire!

Collect 10 Wisdom Gems. Go to that same island in the bottom left corner in the Southwest sea. The process is basically the same. You talk to the Fairy Princess and choose Wisdom. The Spirit of Wisdom will regain some of its strength. Equip it by going to your "Collection" and choose Spirit of Wisdom. Exit the "Collection" screen. You'll notice that your hearts are surrounded by a blue glow. You will now take less damage from attacks!

Sometime later after you're done with Molida Island, you'll get some mail from the father's son. He has started a Bow & Arrow game. Go to Molida Island, and then into his house. You can find out the instructions on how to play from him and then you have to pay 20 rupees to play. The high score is 1700. If you beat it with a score less than 2000, you get a quiver. If you get a score of 2000 or higher, you get a Heart Container!

When you've first met the postman, he'll ask you not to shoot him with a slingshot in the air. This is a reference to a post man in Animal Crossing: Wild Word that suffers this and the postman in Phantom Hourglass is trying to avoid suffering the same fate!

To find the hidden rupoor area, go to Isle of the Dead. When u dock there, head to the eastern cave at the start. Once entered go to the path to the left and look at the wall that u can see the surface of and not in front of the Explorers Compass books. Bomb this wall about midway and enter the cave that appears. Once inside u should be in a area with a maze with "walls" made of rupoor, either 10 or 30. Along with the rupoor maze is some bats which should be taken out with a ranged weapon and not ur sword to avoid the rupoor. After the maze is complete u should be in a room with rupees, pots, and chests. In the chests are 2 ship parts, 1 treasure map, and 1 courage gem. After u claim these prizes u will find a path to the left which will take u to the entrance of the room.

Before ( well this happended to me anyway) before ifought bellum on the final part I went into beedles ship and found gold ship parts ( costing 4200 ruppees) Everyday he should keep stocking up on gold ship parts costing 4200 all the time

Bellium final part is easy. bassicl keep on doing the same thing ( drawing the hourglass and attacking the eye about 5 timnes in a row he should ( if he is close to the edge start to wobble in a cuttscene which means u have done it :))

After your "friendly fairy" is captured, strike Bellum several times as
quickly as you can by tapping him repeatedly. He will eventually jump to
the side and try to strike you. There you have a small window of
opportunity. When he is pulling back for the strike quickly tap him. This
will throw him off balance. Tap him two more times and it will activate
the mini-game where you rub as quickly as possible to disable him.

You need draw a triangle then draw a little triangle.

Now, after you get the Phantom Sword, go to the Temple of the Ocean King. Find a Phantom. When its back is turned on you, stab his back. The Phantom should fall down and disappear, defeated. On most of the floors, after you do this to all of the Phantoms on that floor, a treasure chest appears! Get that and you will get some kind of treasure!

Locate the Traveler's Ship (the guy who gives you all of the treasure). Kill all of the enemies on board his ship, and then talk to him. After receiving the treasure, exit his ship and save your game. Turn off your DS, turn it back on, and head into the DS settings. Adjust the time and date (moving it forward one day, for instance), and restart your game. Return to the Traveler's Ship, repeat the same process as before, and you'll receive more treasure. Stock up using this method, and then go sell all of your goods. You can get 9,999 Rupees easily in about twenty minutes doing this.

Climb aboard the ship called The Prince of the Red Lion, where a character suspiciously similar to Link can be found. You can fight him if you want, over and over again. Earning a certain amount of hits on him will net you new items. For instance, scoring under 100 hits in the time allotted will net you an item like a Pearl Necklace, or a Princess Crown. More than 100 hits will get you a better item, like a Heart Container.

Do the following series of fetch-quests to get the Hurricane Spin ability:

1.) Go to the traveler's ship in the northeast section of the sea. Defeat the monsters you find there, and you will receive New Hero's Clothes, as well as a Treasure Map.

2.) Take the clothes to another traveler's ship, this one in the northwest section of the sea, and give them to the man there. He will give you the Kaleidoscope in return.

3.) Take your newfound Kaleidoscope to the traveler's ship in the southeast section of the sea and give it to the man in want of a telescope. He will give you the Guard's Notebook in return.

4.) Take this notebook to the traveler's ship in the southwest section of the sea and give it to the man you find there to acquire the Wood Heart.

5.) Finally, take the Wood Heart to the Old Wayfarer's Ship, and he will give you the scroll which will allow you to learn this technique!

Here is a list of secret islands:

* Spirit Island, SW Sea - South of Molida Island, there is three boulders, this island is in the center of the boulders
* Zauz's Island, NW Sea - A little Northwst of the Isle of Gust, directly above the fog
* Uncharted Island, NW Sea - Below Bannan Island
* Dee Ess Island, SE Sea - East of Goron Island
* Harrow Island, SE Sea - West of Isle of Frost
* Maze Island, NE Sea - A little Northwest of the Isle of Dead

If you have seen the tablet that says to draw a line from the temple to the "tavarn", they mean the Mercay milk tavarn. So do that, then hit the statue point it up and beside the line you made. Place a bomb where the blue light hits, and enter the cave. Go through to the other side and push the button near the bottom of the island to make the bridge appear.
