I don't think that there's more than one island.

Yes, there is more than one island, try to talk to them and give them gifts and stuff then
when their face pops up on the right side of the bottom screen look at it and see if the
bar is green, once it is green offer them help they will tell you their problem then you
do what they ask you and deliver the items to them. To get to one island you have to craft
rope and have driftwood to fix the bridge, to get to the other island you have to craft a
boat with a chisel and a hammer. To get to the fallen over tree you have to go to the chef
go past his hammock and click on the fallen tree and click make. Don't worry or anything
you have to do it 3 times before the canoe is ready to use.(Tip: You should always craft
the canoe only when you have a full energy bar.)
