I cant deliver the items to the chef i have the items and deliver is coming up on the screen but i click on it and it goes allows me to click on it but it wont deliver the items after i click on it..Help it is so annoying

im only at 16% everytime i try 2 deliver the chefs chili peppers i make fun of him and giving it to him in a gift isnt really workinbg i cant find anything 2 do with mrs. weeder or the doctor and i need like alot of tools i want 2 find or craft a fishing pole ...
