Its actually quite simple

Well, have you built it yet? if not, press start on your nintendo ds, then touch launch
catalog then find x ray machine and touch it then touch build then choose where you want
to put it.
If u have already done all that, choose one of your sick animals and select diagnose.
then touch the pic of the bone on the side. then you can x ray the pet!!!
