You can't have a housemate and a husband/ wife because if you are like me and have a house
mate and then want to get married, the button that says get married will be grey. if you
tap on that it says in a box that you can't get married because it feels uncomfortable
with you housemate. Evict you house mate! THE ANSWER TO YA QUESTION IS NO!

You cant ask them to move in if your not at your house and also my house mate is a friend

Yes, you can. If you become best friends with someone, then let them move in. When you get
married and your partner feels uncomfortable with your housemate, just find someone else
who will fill comfortable with your friend.

You can get married in sims 3 because when I had the amorous option it said "Propose going
steady" or something like "Propose marriage" but I'm not sure about housemates because I
don't have one and I never tried having one.

How to get married:
Become best friends with a guy/ girl( i prefer don alto, if a girl and the wife of don
alto if a guy cause they have the most money). Then keep doing things under amonous and
soon it will say propose going steady then keep clicking things and then it will say
propose maggiage and you will be engaged. Then it will say get married and they will move
in and the game will save. :))
How to get a roomate:
Become best friends with a sim ( don't do the altos or the langraad or goth cause they are
married). Once your best friends you need to go home and invite your best friend over and
be friendly for a minute or two and soon one option under friendly will say ask to move
in. If they want to move in too the game will save and you will get their money and be in
control of them.
