I don't know exactly why I would want to start one...but hey, I just felt like it. I like this game a lot. So, I wanted to make it easy for you so you dont get frusterated and give up :( But it all depends on who you are and how you take it. I like a little humor in my guides...it makes them more manageable. If you don't like it, tough. Don't complain. Go somewhere else and read someone else's walkthrough. Enough chatting then, let's get walkthrough-ing. Oh and sorry if the text looks strange. Formatting it for gameFAQs is pretty hard. I'll get it fixed later. I PROMISE!! --------------------------------------------------- 0.2 - Versions --------------------------------------------------- 12-30-04 : Version 1 is submitted. 12-31-04: V 1.2 - More Missions and more housing options. I will NOT answer your email if you use a lot of profanity, tell me mean things, tell me HOW to play the game, or use really really bad grammar and spelling. I will not tolerate flaming. That's it. Common courtesy. I will really try to make this guide the best it can be...so please bear with me, and contsructive critism would be good. ---------------------------------------------------- 0.4 - Legal Crap ---------------------------------------------------- You're not allowed to take any section of my walkthrough and put it on your site or someone else's site without first consulting me. You CAN print it out and use it so you don't have to sit at your computer all day! :) The only website allowed to use this is www.neoseeker.com If I find it anywhere else....I don't even wanna think about it. So here are our basic controls: + pad to move in the direction you press A to select things when they have an arrow over them, talk to someone or select an option. B to run. Be careful...in one mission you're not allowed to run :( X and Y to scroll through the menu on the bottom of the screen L to hide the needs bar...but I never do R to change the colour of an object when it's selected. Not all object's colours can be changed. Start to pause, so you can itch that spot on your forehead. Yeah... Select takes you right to the options menu. Where you can save! Save often! Use the stylus to select things on the bottom screen. You play minigames such as Doctor max Stat!, MooGoo Monkey, The Pet Show, and Gene Splicer. You can also check your missions, acess your pockets and see a map of the world. How cool is that? ======================================================= 1.1 - Characters ======================================================= They're in no particular order. A set of () indicates a comment I have made. Crystal - a fashionista from out of town. Crystal has come to Miniopolis to check out the scene and steal some good ideas. Kris Thistle - Kris is a smart and sassy dreamer, currently working as King Tower's lead custodian. Luthor L. Bigbucks - Luthor is the handsome, talented, arrogant son of Daddy Bigbucks. Easy to hate, but impossible to ignore. (Leader of the Richies) Ephram Earl - Driven to near madness by almost two centuries of lonely wanderings, Ephram is a ghost looking for some rest. Ewan Watahmee - Ewan is a builder for whom every project, no matter how minor, is an easy opportunity for artistic enlightenment. Harlan King - Kind, doddering Harlan King is your old boss. Just where he's disappeared to, no one can say. Misty Waters - One - time lifeguard (from The Sims Bustin Out), Misty Waters is now a fitness guru and the manager of King Tower's state-of-the-art fitness center. Cannonball Coleman - There is no sweeter sound than Mr. Coleman's sax playing. He's an artist, through and through. Roxanna Moxie - You'd be hard pressed to find another person as talented, fearless, and crazy as this local carnie, Roxanna Moxie. (Leader of the Artsies) Maximillian Moore - Dr. moore is the handsome hypochondriac in charge of Miniopolis University's medical center. Approach with gloves. Darius - Darius uses his size and cool composure to stop fights before they begin. A good guy to have in your corner. (Leader of the Streeties) Theresa Bullhorn - Once an actor, now a part time director and manager of the cinema, Theresa is 100 percent old-school class. Det. Dan D. Mann - Detective Mann is a no-nonsense cop with a nose for facts and figures. He's kind but a little humorless. Pritchard Locksley - Pritchard (what a nice name ;) is an actor temporarily waiting tables at a resturaunt outside Miniopolis. Or is it the other way around? Sharona Faster - Sharona hasn't got time to waste, certainly not for you. So say what you have to say and make it snappy. Lily Gates - Lily is Daddy B's attorney and business partner. She means well but is a terrible judge of character. Lottie Cash - Lottie's move to the big city has shown her things her mother and step-father never taught her...like how to work. Mambo Loa - Mystic sage Mambo Loa always has some wisdom to share with the aimless traveller in times of great confusion. Bayou Boo - Boo is one of your strong silent types - a gentleman with a mind running riot with fanciful ideas. Polly Nomial - Research Assistant and part time think-tank pundit, Polly Nomial is geeky, pretentious, and nauseatingly (not) brilliant. (leader of the Nerdies) Crawdad Clem - Clem is the more talkative of the two bayou brothers, though they share an insatiable thirst for invention. Gramma Hattie - Outspoken firebrand and social activist, Gramma Hattie gets more done in a day than you could in three lives. Busta Cruz - (My favourite person if you've ever seen SLC Punk ;) Busta is from a strange land just across the pond from Miniopolis. He's busy doing nothing much. Sue Pirnova - (Awesome name!) Sue Pirnova is a college student struggling to find her path. This year she's majoring in physics. What will next year bring? Dusty Hogg - Dusty has a mean streak much longer than his patience, but if you can prove you're tough, he just might like you. Dr. Mauricio Keys / Mokey (You'll see) - Mokey has a strange way about him, a confidence you can't quite put your finger on. And he's pretty cool too. Giuseppi Mezzoalto - Since moving here from SimValley (and getting out of jail, if you've played Bustin Out), Giuseppi has ditched his black-market dealings. Now he's just a shady guy. Jack I. Deal - Is he Mister Right? Or mister Not-Now-Not-Ever? Yes, okay, Jack is full of himself...but so is ice. (I dont get it:() Lincoln Broadsheet - (He suprised me...) If there is a conspiracy to unearth, you can bet local journalist Boradsheet with (that's how it was in the game's description. Maybe they meant will???) be there, shovel in hand. Pheobe Twiddle - Erstwhile SimValley knick-nack maven (meaning she used to work in Nikki Knack's Bric 'a' Brack in Sims Bustin Out. You'd understand a lot more if you played it! ;) Pheobe Twiddle has come to Miniopolis to ply her trade and sell her awesome junk. Cynthia Braintrust - Cynthia is one of the warmest and most softspoken people around, but she usually reserves kindness for animals. Daddy Bigbucks - Most people simply call him Daddy B. it's the only reistance against this miser and his money. Futo Maki - Stern but affable, the multi-talented Futo Maki is one of the city's legendary luminaries. Gary Geezer - Gary's a kind old gentleman, but just a touch hard of hearing. Speak up when you talk to him or he'll miss the gist completely. Olde Salty - (He has an action figure! ^_^) Sunshine, open ocean and briny saltwater have warped dear Olde Salty into a confused and crazy ex-captain. Berkeley Clodd - If you think Berkely is the model of human honesty and decency, he's got some swamp land to sell you. That's everyone!! ============================================================ 1.2 - Conversation Likes ============================================================ When talking to someone, you'll find that Crystal may like Aliens, but Gramma Hattie thinks its stupid. So, to save you the frusteration of five failed conversations, I have supplied you with a list of what the people like! If an option on the topics you can talk about isn't one they like, just go to Friendly Options (or something) and then back again. Voila! The topics change! Also, this list shows things that they react with plus signs to. If no change occurs, it is not on this list. DO NOT send in items that people do not react to!! *NOTE* This part is going to take a while to complete. Bear with me, and if you have any more, send them in! Don't be shy! Lowers your bills by 20% -Double Pane Windows: $2,000. Lowers your bills by 40%. Buy this if you are planning on staying in your house for the rest of the game. Domo-Mojo -Mild: You start out with this. -Stylin': $750. Others feel your vibe 15% more. Meaning you get more stuff if people come over and they like your place. -Groovy: $1,500. Others feel your vibe 40% more. Buy if you are planning on staying in your house. Security System -No Security: You start out with this...and get robbed. Alot. -Burglar Alarm: $250. Reduces robberies by 50%. -Nite-Ninja Security: $1,500. No more robberies! Buy this no matter what. Fire Alarm -No Fire Alarm: Put out yer own dang fire! -Smoke Detector: $50. Automatically calls fire department. If you don't mind waiting a bit before you can use your oven again, and a chance of passing out, buy this. I didn't upgrade and I'm fine *twitch* -Halon Suppression System: $500. No more fires! And that's that!! =========================================================== 1.4 - Rep Groups =========================================================== A basic description of the groups. If you feel the urge to have more information, look at the FAQ on neoseeker titled Rep Groups. It will tell you EVERYTHING. Richies - My group! LOL, a bunch of rich kids who get their kicks...being rich. Hangs out a lot in Glasstown and Paradise Island. Because, you know, we can afford that kind of thing. Rivals to the Streeties. Leader is Luthor L. Bigbucks. And no, Daddy Bigbucks is not a Richie. Streeties - A bunch of kids who say "yo" and "dawg." They like to hang around Urbania. Rivals the Richies. Leader is Darius. Nerdies - Computer hacking, 1337 masters. Although, they could all use a makeover. Originally I was in this group then my batteries died and I hadn't saved. Leader is Polly Nomial. Rivals are the Artsies. Artsies - A bunch of wandering, bright eyed daydreamers with their own agenda. Live on SimQuarter and they'll like you! Roxie Moxie (girl with flashy outfit!) is their leader. Rivals the Nerdies HOLY CRAP! WE'RE FINALLY STARTING THE WALKTHROUGH!!!!! EXCITING!! ____________________________________________________________ 2.0 - Notes About the First Mission ____________________________________________________________ You take your first little baby steps, and finally see the world...err I mean, King Tower. You start out as a humble, unknown janitor, wanting to find fame and sucess!! Well, here starts your adventure, and what a humble beginning! Squeegeeing bird poo off windows and picking locks to other people's offices... :sigh: You gotta start somewhere. I suggest working out so you have at least 4 body points in the basement (after you play Squeegee Clean, of course) and get at least 2 promotions in Squeegee Clean. But hey, that's just me. But trust me, it'll come in handy later. Also, try and get the best relationship with Misty Waters, Lily Gates and Kris Thistle, the only people in the building that you can talk with. It'll make life easier. Also, the missions do not nessecarily have to be done in the exact order that I have put them in. Whenever you get the mission is whenever you can complete it. Unless it says otherwise, do the missions at your own pace and in any order. But now... ONWARDS! ____________________________________________________________ 2.1 - "Slave to the Grind" ____________________________________________________________ You're kicking back on a bench, and out of the elevator, this girl comes up to you and tells you to get back to work! :GASP!: I would tell her you were getting on it, but if you're feeling saucy tell her you're on break. Oh by the way this girl is Kris Thistle. When you exit dialouge with her, a box will pop up informing you that you have a new mission. So look at the bottom of your screen, press the bullseye logo and press Mission 1. You will see: SLAVE TO THE GRIND -Play Squeegee Clean -Befriend Kris Thistle (Rel 30) -Give Kris your Squeegee and Bucket Actually, you'll only see the Squeegee Clean option right now, so walk over to the Simoleon sign and press A. Read the instructions on how to play and scrape that nasty crap away! Next talk to Kris and she will tell you you're FIRED! Oh NOE! Say whatever you'd like here. It doesn't change the outcome of the game at all. Then keep talking to her (You might have to enter dialogue with her again by pressing a) and get your relationship up to thirty. To give her your squeegee and bucket, press the yellow icon at the bottom of the selections and do give a gift. Double tap the Squeegee and Bucket, and that mission is complete! You will get a new mission, which is.... _____________________________________________________________ 2.2 - "Get Cleaned Up" _____________________________________________________________ GET CLEANED UP -Take a shower -Take a nap -Eat something from the vending machine Go to the elevator and select fourth floor. WOAH! This place is a mess! Don't worry, it'll be prettier and you can buy it later. But for now, go to the shower (tall white thing) and select TAKE A SHOWER! Next, go to that ratty old brown couch and dare to lay down on it to sleep. Any amount of time spen sleeping is okay. I would satisy the whole energy and comfort need. After that, head to the Lobby (floor 1) and hit up the vending machines, and they'll spew out free food! Might take a while to fully satisfy your hunger need, but it'll be okay. Talk to Kris because this mission is DONE! SAVE!!!! Next! ____________________________________________________________ 2.3 - "Help Kris Thistle" ____________________________________________________________ HELP KRIS THISTLE -Move the bed to the suite (*snicker*) -Repair the TV -Repair TWO drinking fountains Go to the second floor and find the bed on the left side of the building. Not in Lily's office... Select "Put in Pocket" and head back up the elevator to your "suite." Hah hah. If you feel the need to interior decorate with almost any object, press the R trigger when the yellow arrow is over the object to change it's colour. Pretty nifty, eh? Go back to that second floor and select the TV. Select Repair, and once it's fixed, talk to that crazy boy Harlan King. Anything you say is fine. Now about those drinking fountains. To know if they're broken or not, select them and select "Repair." Then wait while your Urb fixes it. SAVE!!!!!! With that done go talk to Kris and.... ___________________________________________________________ 2.4 - "Get the Key" ___________________________________________________________ GET THE KEY -Earn One Mechanical Skill Point -Pick the lock to Lily Gate's office -Find the key Kris has bad news. Very bad in fact. Turns out you're not going to see Glasstown this early. Well, she locked us out of the building! So, pump up your mechanical skill to one measly point (you can't do anymore than that) and go over to the door that is now closed on that same second floor. When there is a big yellow arrow over it, select pick lock and wait for your Urb to pick it. Now you're in. Great! Let's go over to all the stuff. If something has a big yellow arrow over it at ANYTIME, press A! You might find Xizzle beads, money, or recyclables. But in this case, we're heading over to the desk and pressing A. You found the key! (Da-nah- nah-nah!! :from Zelda...:) But before you can go anywhere, a big man comes in and yells at you! :( This man is actually Daddy Bigbucks, and he owns this building, remember the conversation with Harlan King?? Another man comes in, and he arrests you! This is Det. Dan D. Mann. You get tossed in jail! Ono! SAVE!!!! So now you have to.... ___________________________________________________________ 2.5 - "Get out of Jail" ___________________________________________________________ GET OUT OF JAIL (FREE~! ^_^) -Befriend Detective Dan (Rel 30) -Answer Detective Dan's Questions Well, in this here jail cell, you have everything you need to fill your (probably low) motives. So do that, and talk to Detective Dan. -(Any choice is fine) -The janitor told me I could stay -Real food, I was tired of eating junk -No, he is finding legal ways of making people miserable -(Anything) After he finally backs off with the questions, now you get to barrage him with conversation! So talk a lot about crime, law and jail if possible, until you are at 30 with him. Since he's such a nice guy, he'll let you out fo jail. Aww... SAVE!!!! But he told us to... ___________________________________________________________ 2.6 - "Find a Place to Live" ___________________________________________________________ FIND A PLACE TO LIVE -Play the Hoopz Minigame -Earn $150 for Rent and Taxes -Buy a house First things first. If you see ANY TRASH at all, SAVE IT!!! If you want to beat the entire game 100%, do save your trash and DO NOT recycle it. It will stop appearing around day 100, thus leaving you trashless. Onwards... Since you've played the Squeegee game about three times you should have automatically completed goal number two. If not, no worries. Money is easy in this game! So once out of jail with your motives maxed, Head to your left and up those stairs. Play the game. What you have to do is line up the hole and the ball right in the middle (the green zone). In the first two levels, you don't have to get them exactly straight to get money. But from the third on up, it's perfect or nothing. You should get a promotion if you got some body points and a good score, if not, no worries there either. Head back down the stairs when you're done (pick up the trash if there's any on the court, BUT SAVE IT!!! :goes rabid:) and head outside to: URBANIA! Your final goal, buying a house, is easier than a lot in this game...so pick either Small Brownstone (to the right of the lady on newspapers) or the Large Brownstone (to the left of the lady). Read section 1.3 for more about this. And now we get to start the second set of missions. SAVE!!!! Yay! ____________________________________________________________ 3.0 - "Work Study" ____________________________________________________________ WORK STUDY - Befriend Maximillian Moore (Rel 30) - Give The Artemisia Plant To Max - Write a Doctoral Thesis Sue Pirnova (girl with red scarf on her head) should have an exclamation point over her head. Wonder why? Talk to her and she'll blabber about class. "Oops, you don't go to my school!" But you want to, right? Answer her questions any way you like. Nothing will die if youre a cynic. She will tell you to go talk to Doctor Max (man with afro) and see if he can get you in. So head over to the hospital (building with red cross on it) and check if Max is there. If not, he usually is outside the hospital, and if you just can't find him, give him a call. Buddy up to him and get it up to 30. I would get it all the way up to 100 for later missions concerning popularity, but its your desicion. Anyway, he will tell you about the artemisia plant that grows in damp, dark regions. He also tells you to write a doctoral thesis. So, either go to the Chronicle (just south of the Hospital, by the roadblocks) or go over to the dumpster with the graffiti on it that you can "Critique" At the chronicle, head upstairs and choose write a thesis on the computer. If it says you have writer's block, do research. You gain Logic points for this, and it'll cure your writer's block. Also, try working on your creativity by critiquing the dumpster. You'll need this for the next mission, anyway. At the dumpster is a tangled mass of...something. That something is the plant. You will have a skill point bar over your head that's decreasing as time passes. Quickly - to the hospital! Deliver it to Doctor Max and the thesis also, and the mission will be done. You can attend the University next door at any time to gain skill points easily. The only points you can gain, unfortunatley are Mechanical, Logic, Creativity and Cooking. Still, it's an easy way to make skills. The game you unlock, Dr. Max Stat! is pretty fun, but HARD. Your brain has to like look for patterns and react in 90 seconds. The more you get done in 90 seconds, the more money. Kaching! SAVE!!!!!! With that done we have to.... ____________________________________________________________ 3.1 - "Gotta Finish The Riff" ____________________________________________________________ GOTTA FINISH THE RIFF - Befriend Cannonball Coleman (Rel 30) - Give 1 saxaphone reed to Cannonball Coleman - Earn Creativity 1 - Finish Cannonball's Song Go find Phoebe Twiddle. She will tell you that Cannonball Coleman is depressed. That's so sad...what can we do to help? Well, first let's be friends with the guy. He's the guy always wandering around with a saxaphone and wearing a green hat. So we'll talk about music and art. When he's at thirty, go to the Second Looks Thrift Store and buy the Saxaphone Reed. Give it to him and he'll feel like bursting out in song. He invites you to join him but you're not up to the street chat! Go to the dumpster where you found the Artemisia plant and critique the graffiti sprayed there just for that purpose. When the skill is earned, go back to Coleman and finish his song! Choose: "...up to old tricks?" "...so right?" "...and chill as a lake?" "...saxophone reed?" Great! We're done here, another man happy! SAVE!!!!!!! Now we'll...... ____________________________________________________________ 3.2 - "Race For Glory" ____________________________________________________________ RACE FOR GLORY - Give Dusty $500 for Renovations - Talk to Ewan Watahmee - Bring Ewan Lunch for 3 Days (12-1 PM) First, go find Dusty Hoog, the big biker man with the du rag. He will tell you about a race he wants you to join. So give the man 500 bucks and go in his shop to check if Ewan is there. If he isn't there try the street leading to the jail. Chat with Ewan and he'll tell you to bring you his lunch for three days from 12-1 PM. What are you, some kind of lunch person? Gosh. Anyway, just buy a corn dog or something from Slice o' Life (the stairway leading down with the big neon pizza sign above it) and bring that to him between those hours. After you bring him lunch the third day, you'll be able to race bikes from 9 AM - 6 PM! Get good upgrades for your bike by shopping from the NPC guy. Make sure that your bike goes fast and you'll be able to win the game a lot. SAVE!!!!!!!!!! It's time to show our.... ____________________________________________________________ 3.3 - "Salsemanship" ____________________________________________________________ SALSEMANSHIP - Attend an Auction Between 5 PM and 7 PM - Acquire the Shrunken head - Give the Shrunken Head To Berkely Sound familiar, my Bustin Out people? Well it is, because you have to win the shrunken head at an auction! Yay! Before I get too ahead of myself, talk to Berkeley Clodd. He is the guy with the feather in his hat and weird glasses. He looks like the more attractive form of Dracula in Dracula.... So, at 5 PM, go to second looks thrift store and bid like crazy on the head. Make sure your bet is higher than everyone elses. Afterwards, track down Berkely and give it to him. He, in turn, gives you a skateboard - with no wheels! But it hovers, and it looks rather attractive in the house. That's where I kept mine. It's pretty hard to control, but read the Transportation section for more info. SAVE!!!!!!! Are you ready to unlock.... ____________________________________________________________ 3.4 - "Club Xizzle" ____________________________________________________________ CLUB XIZZLE - Take Crystal Out On the Town - Get a Bite to eat - Play Games - Go Shopping - Buy Crystal a Gift Have at least 100 simoleons. And start it between 10 AM and 7 PM. It'll be a lot easier, I promise. Anyway, talk to Lottie Cash. She'll mistake you for a partyer at Club Xizzle, the hottest place ever!! Ask her to get in and she'll redirect you to Crystal. So go talk to Crystal between those really good hours with 100 simoleons in your pockets and talk to her. Take her out on the town! Go first to Slice o Life and talk to her once inside. She'll tell you to buy her some food, so walk over and get her something. Give it to her via the Friendly Actions/Give a Gift. Now she wants to play some games. Hop over to the DDR (Dance Dance Revolution, a really fun game. What the urbz are playing is exactly like it is in real life.) machines and break out your cool moves! Crystal will play with you, and once you guys are done boogie-ing, then talk to Crystal once more. She'll claim to be exhausted and want to go shopping. Take her to second looks thrift store and talk to her. She will ask for a "gift from the street." Head over to the lady sitting on the newspapers. Buy Crystal anything from there, it doesn't matter. Give it to her in the same manner you gave her the food, and that mission is history. Oh yes, and the password to Club X is BUCKET. SAVE!!!!!! We're on the.... _____________________________________________________________ 3.5 - "Road to SimQuarter" _____________________________________________________________ ROAD TO SIMQUARTER - Make 3 Friends - Raise $500 for the cause - Earn 2 Promotions In LOCAL Jobs First talk to Gramma Hattie. She's the lady in the purple dress always walking around. She'll go on about protesting against Daddy Bigbucks, and how you can help. First you need three friends. If you got a good relationship (above 50) with three people, then the three friends goal is done. Next you have to give her $500. If you don't have the money, play some games. Getting the promotions are easy. Logic for Dr. Max Stat! and Body for Hoopz. Now you can access more people and more places in the cooler SimQuarter!! SAVE!!!!!!! Onto new missions! _____________________________________________________________ 4.0 - "Mission for the Mann" _____________________________________________________________ MISSION FOR THE MANN - Play Moogoo Monkey - Folllow the directions on the bulletin board - Give the "Mysterious Briefcase" to Det. Dan - Give the "Rigged Briefcase" to Giuseppi Talk to Det. Dan to start this mission. He will tell you about Moogoo Monkey and illegal activities he thinks are going on down there. So now you get to play Moogoo Monkey! Head over to the Riverboat and go over to the simoleon sign. What you have to do is put bets on a monkey, then put high cards on that one, while you trash others with pitiful 1' and 2's. I would spread your bets around so that almost every monkey has some stuff on it to make sure you get at let what you put down. Once you're done there, Giuseppi Mezzoalto should come up to you and tell you to go check out the bulletin board. Head over to the Chronicle and follow the instructions left to your name. Now, go to the museum in SimQuarter, but don't go in. Scout around outside the bushes and find the slip of paper that says: "The answers you seek lie beyon the grave." A grave belongs in a...GRAVEYARD! Okay now listen: If you haven't beat the mission "None Shall Pass" then you can't go into the graveyard until you beat it. So if you haven't let's stop here and come back after you have. If the graveyard is open, check all the graves until you find yet another slip of paper saying something about a guy with a feather in his hat. And who could that be but Berkeley Clodd! Excellent. He'll hand you a briefcase, and you get to run it to Det. Dan. Just make sure Berkeley doesn't know you're working for the cops. Dan will rig the briefcase, and then you must give it to Giuseppi. Once again, make sure he doesn't know you're working for the cops! SAVE!!!!!!! _______________________________________________________________ 4.1 - "Daddy Bigbucks and the Xizzle Factory" _______________________________________________________________ DADDY BIGBUCKS AND THE XIZZLE FACTORY - Earn creativity 5 - Convince Ewan to Fix the Factory (Rel 50) - Challenge and beat Dusty Hogg - Convince Polly to help at the factory First, go find Lily Gates and have a chat with her. She's usually on the dock by the Riverboat. She will tell you Daddy B is going to shut down the Xizzle Factory, which caught fire a while ago, and she wants you to help save it! The first goal is creativity 5. So head to the University and check when he teaches Creativity. Come back every day and build your creativity skill. Once that's done, go talk to Ewan. Earn a 50 Relationship score with him and he'll fix the factory.... if you beat Dusty Hogg in a race! I would get your relationship score with Ewan up to 100 for now. You'll thank me later. At 6 PM, go down to the bike shop and ride against the Dusty Hogg. I had the micro chassis, street suspension, zipper engine, large nitrous tank and racing tires. I won easily. Just make sure that you don't acellerate all the time because some bumps will throw you off your bike if you do. Once you win, Dusty will give you his bike (sore loser, eh? Guess that was his last racing day) and tell you that Polly Nomial would help at the factory. Call her and see where she is, then get your relationship to 50. I would get it to 100, but that's just me. And that mission's over! SAVE!!!!!! _______________________________________________________________ 4.2 - "None Shall Pass" _______________________________________________________________ NONE SHALL PASS - Earn Body 5 OR Charisma 5 - Meet at the cemetary between 11PM and 12AM - Guard the cemetary for four hours Talk to Gramma Hattie. She will tell you about a meeting she's having, revolting against Daddy B. But you're not on the guestlist, you get to be the bouncer! If you worked out in the basement of the King Tower like I told you, then you've only got one more point to go! So get that point and you've gotten that one. If you haven't worked out at all, then go buy a mirror and practice your charisma. Charisma and logic are important in being promoted in Moogoo Monkey, and if you get the highest promotion you can get a lot of Rep with the Richies. (Details on that in the Rep mission section) So either one is fine for this mission. At 11PM, head over to the graveyard. Gramma Hattie will come up and talk some more, then leave you to guard the place. Daddy B will show up. Say whatever you'd like to him, and he'll go away. Darius then shows up. And we thought he was a nice guy! :( Tell him: "...I can deflect sunlight with my breath!" "...people call me ______!" (Option 2) "...Det. Dan kicked me out of jail!" Darius will leave, and you'll win the mission. Now you can access the cemetary whenever you'd like! SAVE!!!!!! __________________________________________________ 4.3 - "Get on the List" __________________________________________________ GET ON THE LIST - Earn Rep 2 with your Group - Take tickets 2 - 5AM (Club Zydeco) Have a chat with Cannonball Coleman and he'll talk about this wild gig he's having at Club Z. Sounds fun, eh? Well, first you have to be somebody to get in, so chat it up with people in your Rep group, and especially kiss up to the leader. Once that's done, go to the Club at 2 AM. Cannonball will come up to you and tell you not to let any Richies in. Roxie Moxie shows up, let her in. Lottie Cash shows up, don't let her in. Max Moore shows up, let him in. Crystal shows up, let her in. Sue Pirnova shows up, let her in. Luthor Bigbucks shows up, don't let him in. And that's done! SAVE!!!!!!!! _____________________________________________________ 4.4 - "High Society" _____________________________________________________ HIGH SOCIETY - Find a curator - Purchase one museum exhibit - Give $300 to Roxie for travel expenses Talk to Luthor L. Bigbucks and he'll complain about the museum sucking so badly. So he sends you out to fix it.... Talk to Roxanna Moxie, and she'll tell you about her cousin that could be the curator. Excellent! Pay her $300 and two goals are done. Lastly, head to the museum and buy any exhibit you like. I bought out the whole thing, and I get a check in the mail for $1,000 every time my bills come. Pretty sweet, eh? That missions over, easy! SAVE!!!!!!! _____________________________________________________ 4.5 - "The Ballas Of Pepper Pete" _____________________________________________________ THE BALLAD OF PEPPER PETE - Find a Sailor's Coat - Find a fake beard - Find a Sailor's Cap - Give cosume items to Mambo Loa - Talk to Olde Salty This one is a lot of fun. Dressing up as someone else. There always seems to be one of these in every game... Talk to Mambo Loa to trigger the mission. Afterwards, go to the Thrift Store and check the racks for the Sailor's Coat! After that, find Pritchard Locksley and he will sell you a fake beard for $300. Buy the white one, and that goal is done too! Now go over to the Coffee shop and order the Sailor's Cap from SimBay Online. It'll take about 2 days to get to your house, so earn some money and do whatever. When it comes in, go to Mambo Loa and she'll dress you up as Pepper Pete. Now go talk to Olde Salty and he'll be amazed that it really is you! Talk like a pirate : ARRR!! Mission complete - but you get tossed into the bayou!!! >_< SAVEEEE!!!!!!! _____________________________________________________ 5.0 - "The Greatest Fear" _____________________________________________________ THE GREATEST FEAR - Prove to Clem you Aren't a Vampire (Rel 30) - Find the "Dark Tree" - Find a light - Capture the Albino Alligator When you wake up, there are two people standing over you! Wonder how long they've been standing there. The one, Clem, accuses you of being a vampire. Silly humans. Don't they know that we only like night hours....? Muhahahah! Don't worry I'm not a vampire. So, when Clem asks you what you like to eat, say "Garlic Ice Cream," "A sunbath on the beach" and "a Gnat." The rest is all up to you. Say whatever. Clem will be convinced that you're not a vampire. Go to the right after your coversation, and you will stumble upon a giant person eating plant! If it has you in it's grasp, tap B repeatedly to get away. Now it can't get you! If there were items behind it, you can get them now! Keep going, and cross the planks to get to the other little islands. Adventure around a bit until you find a large stump, and go North of it. There is the big Dark Tree! But the big huge Daddy B hologram will make you pass out, so leave for now and get past a man eating plant to find the glowstick. Go back to the dark tree and now you're not afraid of the hologram! Talk to the albino Alligator and tell him people aren't so bad! SAVE!!!! __________________________________________________ 5.1 - "Fiddle With The Red Man" __________________________________________________ FIDDLE WITH THE RED MAN - Meet at the Hickory Stump at Midnight - Fiddle the Red Man Clem won't beleive you when you tell him you met the Alligator, so he sends you on yet another quest : to find the Red Man and fiddle against him!! Refresh your motives at the small swamp house, and at midnight, head over to the stump by the dark tree and play against the Red Man. You have to press the arrows he does at the exact same time he had pressed it when it comes to be your turn, so play carefully. Otherwise, this game is quite fun and easy. SAVE!!!!! _________________________________________________ 5.2 - "Bye Bye Bayou" _________________________________________________ BYE BYE BAYOU - Covince Clem to Show you Out - Meet Boo At The Masoleum Entrance - Traverse the Masoleum Awww....now we have to leave the Bayou. Go to Clem and show him the locket. He will tell you to show that to Boo, who will lead you out of the swamp. Boo should be at the Masoleum entrance - if you've wandered around the bayou a lot you'll know where to find it. Show Boo the locket and he will agree to lead you out. Walk through the masoleum, it's not that hard, because it's not a maze or anything. Boo will be captured by the clock, so you must continue alone. Once you're out, go to the right and follow the arrows on various buildings. Gramma Hattie will tell you that people have opened Glasstown up, but lots of other have changed too. Afterwards, she will walk through a masoleum and out where the Daddy B statue was. Run out and go anywhere. You will get busted for RUNNING. Running is now illegal - DO NOT RUN! You will get arrested every time you run for about 10 seconds. Use your newly acquired motorcycle and get around. It's a heck of a lot easier than walking. SAVE! IF YOU DON'T YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO THE NEXT PART OVER!!!! __________________________________________________ 5.3 - "Running from the Law" __________________________________________________ RUNNING FROM THE LAW - Find Someone to Write a Letter - Find a messenger to Paradise Island - Gain Popularity 30 - Find a map to Paradise Island - Bring the Map to Gordie Always walk in this mission, because, as I said, RUNNING IS ILLEGAL! So, don't run. Ride your motorcycle or skateboard if you're good at it. Anyway, when you're in jail, talk to Det. Dan to trigger the mission. Afterwards, talk to Gramma Hattie. She will agree to write your letter. As for your messenger, once you get out of jail, go to the University and talk to Gordie Puck, the boy who's always sleeping. He'll delvier your letter - - BUT! You have to gain popularity 30! If you got up to 100 relationship with people you were only supposed to get 50 or 30 with, then you should have this done. If not, then talk to everyone and get them past 75%. Why 75%? You get Xizzle beads, that's why! After you are super popular, go to the Riverboat and go up all the stairs. On the top deck, go into the small room just a bit beyond the stairs. It appears to be a small black box with some grey things in it. Go in there, and up the ladder. The map is on the floor on theother side of that teeny room. Go back to Gordie and talk to him. Then give him the map. That is all the communication you'll be doing with Gordie. Ever. Go talk to Det. Dan and now you can run again!!!!! You also get a fan boat that breaks the boundaries between you and water. ^_^ SAVE! YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO DO THIS OVER IF THE GAME GLITCHES! ________________________________________________________ 5.4 - "Carnivale!" ________________________________________________________ CARNIVALE! - Capture the Dancing Nutria - Give the Dancing Nutria to Roxie - Give $500 to Roxie moxie - Find a Tightrope Walker - Find Misty Waters a Date Talk to Miss Roxie Moxie and she will tell you about the amazing Carnivalshow that cannot go on with two things: a tightrope walker and a dancing pet of some sort. First, SAVE YOUR GAME. My game glitched when I went to get on the fan boat, and I had to start all over from mission 3 because I HADN'T SAVED!! :( That's about two hours worth of playing I lost. So now you know why I urge you to save after every mission. Okay, get on thefanboat and head southwards. You hould come to a dock after a little while, get off on it and find the dancing rodent thing. It'll kind of boogie then jump back into the ground, come up and boogie again. So grab it and bring it back to Roxie. An easy way to get back to the dock is to go through the hole in those lifeguard ropes just northeast of where you are. Head back to Roxie and give her the dancing Nutria and your $500. Three goalsdone! Now we night a tightrope walker...hmm ...who's in good enough shape and is attractive enough to be a tightrope walker...I know, Misty Waters! So go talk to her and she'll agree to do it IF you find her a date. Fuuun. So go talk to your man Luthor L. Bigbucks and he'll agree right away. Tah-dah! The show can go on! Talk to Roxie. SAVE!!! _____________________________________________________ 5.5 - "The Bigbucks Players" _____________________________________________________ THE BIGBUCKS PLAYERS - Gain Popularity 40 - Convince Dusty Hogg to perform (Rel 50) - Convince Sue Pirnova to perform (Rel 50) - Decorate the Stage - Attend the Play Talk to Theresa Bullhorn to trigger the mission. She'll tell you about a play that she's planning on directing about miserly Daddy B. It will make a total fool of him. Awesome. So first, we have to convince Dusty Hogg and Sue Pirnova to play our main characters : Daddy B and Lily Gates. I'd get the relationship with both up to 100 so that Popularity 40 goes by faster. Once they're convinced, buy five decorative items and place them on the stage. Great, now the stage is decorated! Now for that Popularity action -- just talk to everyone beyond 75% so you can get more beads and friends. Next, go to the cinema and attend the play! The cutscene is awesome. Daddy B gets so mad ^_^ SAVE!!!! __________________________________________________ 6.0 - "Reality Show" __________________________________________________ REALITY SHOW - Travel to Paradise Island - Play the Trivia Contest - Insult the other contestants This one is really fun. Go talk to the leader of your rep group. In case you forgot, Luthor L. Bigbucks is the leader of the Richies, Darius of the Streeties, Polly Nomial of the Nerdies and Roxie Moxie of the Nerdies. Get your motives the highest they can go. This |
