I am sure I'm not the only one scared by this game. Let me list what scared me.
Skull Spiders (Not anymore though)

Gohma (Scared the crap out of my bro, literally)

The Statue monsters (Statues need to be still)

Pehats (First encounter only)

Jabu Jabu Belly's boss
Redeads
Stalfos (They deal two hearts of damage!)

Phantom Ganon
Redeads
Volgana
Redeads
Like Likes

Wallmasters
Redeads
Dead Hand
And most of all, Redeads.
I didn't make it to the Spirit Temple, BTW.

There's things WAY scarier than this game. For starters, go get yourself eaten by a myth in Miner Disturbance, and come back to me when this isn't scary at all.

To back up my point, I'll list what I've encountered on your list and what I think of them.

Skulltulas: Oh, look, giant spider. Shoot it or squish it! *Shoots with arrow*
Redeads: What are zombies doing in this game? *Decapitates*
The statue monsters: Hey, those shouldn't be moving. *Spends next minute figuring out how to kill*
Birinade (Jabu-Jabu's boss): I hope this isn't the thing's heart... *Brandishes boomerang*
Stalfos: OH GOD, these guys are actually kinda tough. *Uses fairy*

Phantom Ganon: Hey, it's just like the first form from Twilight Princess! *Brandishes bow and disposes of the horse*
Like Like: I'm not sure what that is, but I ain't goin' near it. *Shoots with bow*
Wallmaster: I wonder where the rest of the body is? *Sidesteps and kills in one swift move*

Overall, I'm surprised Poes aren't on this list. TOUGHEN UP, YA PANSY.

This game never scared me, I played this when I was 3 years old. Yes, I know it may seem impossible, but I learned how to play Legend of Zelda: Oot. It took me time to adjust to the controls and found out this game was pretty simple and easy later on.
