Carnax is now immune to Power word die. (special of the BOA) Instead, try being a high endurance character, using big 100k (drain ability is immensely useful), nightmare shield, and elite dragon slayer.
If you are able to survive long enough (i reccomend fairy god mother and guardian angel for healings) youll be able to continuously heal, using the drain of the big 100k, and deal massive damage to carnax. It takes a few hours.

he is immune to pwd. And Elite dragon slayers call forth the fire dragon ability (99 turn charge) will only take off I believe 1/6 of his health each time.
