On Level 5 there is a bug when your creature gets cursed: The curse makes your creature shrink down almost to the size of a villager and it'll stay like this everytime you play in Singleplayer, skirmish or anything. This curse will not go away even if you finish the game and there isn't a way to solve it until the release of the patch which is expected in the next week. The game has a problem working on a drive other than C there isn't a way to correct this as far as i know other than changing your drive letter. Some people have managed to get the game working when it is installed on another drive but then they have a problem saving or the game becomes corrupt after a few hours play. As far as I know there is no way to fix this. Some people have had problems when there creature is leashed to them whilst they complete the rock chucking contest on the first land.In some cases the creature dissapears completely and for other people everything but its shadow vanished. There is away to fix this apparently if you give your animal a villager there is a chance that he will come back this doesn't always work though. If you have encountered this problem please tell me what video card you were using at the time. Some people have reported that all of the games textures are screwed up if you have this problem please mail me with your video card make. In land 1 some people have encountered problems with the quest where you save the drowning fishermen. Apparently after they've gotten everyone onto land some of the villagers continue to drown and this of course means that they fail the quest. This seems to be a random bug when your creature takes them out but it always happens when you use your own hand. (it is a bug if you are able to use your hand at all) On Land 4 in the if you try to sacrifice one of the wandering skeleton villagers they will get stuck in the sacrifice dish thing. This does happen but not very often. Some people have reported not being able to get there creatures to drink at all.In fact instead of consuming water the stupid animals walk on it! Sometimes when you zoom out really far your consience will report which way your village is situated and then fail to dissapear. The only way to get rid of him is to restart your game. Some people have failed to install the game at all if you know a way to solve this please mail me. Many people get a black screen a few seconds into the game (after the lionhead logo appears) you can either use Defroster to get rid of this or disable all sound options under the black & white setup options menu. Some peoples savegames have become corrupt after the end of level 2 if this has happened to you please mail me and give me the specifics. After about ten minutes of play the game just quits without an error message of any kind. This seems quite rare but it does happen i don't know how to fix it though. After capturing a town fireworks will appear at one of your old villages this doesn't seem to cause any other problems though. On some systems the game crashes when displaying any of the games cutscenes Defroster seems to fix this though. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- Frequently Asked Questions ----------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE At the moment this section only contains questions that i've seen on the boards if people ask me a question alot though i will obviously add it to this section. Where can i get my grubby paws on Defroster? Go to www.planetblackandwhite.com to download it ( 2.2 mb) What is the point of the ' Future Room ' ? The ' Future Room ' doesn't do anything at the moment but in the Future (excuse the pun ) It will hopefully display a list of all the possible downloadable upgrades for the game. I left my computer on Black & White for 12 hours and my creature hasn't grown one bit!? Your creature needs proper nourishment to flourish and this means that most of the time leaving your pc on (especially if you have dumb creature ) won't do you any good. In The first level walkthrough you mention having a Lion, how did you get it!? Once you get it on the fifth stage you can go back and choose it on level 1 or you could just hack it using the wonderful info from voodooextreme.com which can be found in this guide. Reader Contributions ----------------------- If you want your name listed please ask me to do so in your email >From shancez@another.com The bug with fishermen on the first level: Because it's a challenge they can drown in any water, including 1cm deep water, so you have to put them near the grass to do any help at all. How to kill Guru/Yogi I know it's being good, but build loads of wondersand and you can pick him up, he hangs around inside his temple, but you can still pick him up and toss him around a little. If you don't want to complete the challenge, and your careful, you can send your creature to go and eat him. >From fvb_messiah@hotmail.com Help with dissapearing textures "The 'screwed up' textures problem affects voodoo series cards. This is easily fixed by experimenting with different driver kits. Certain driver kits and versions of 3dfxtools can cause this to occur. There is no definite driver kit to sort this, just uninstall your card software fully and install a different version until it goes away. This problem usually effects other D3D programs, for example rollcage 1/2 and the ultraHLE N64 emulator. This is the only fix for this 'bug'... more a driver problem than anything to do with the game." If anyone knows anything interesting that i haven't mentioned in my guide, please mail me? The Ape The Ape is the most intelligent creature in the game and is perfect for someone who wants to play a passive game. This is one of the first three creatures you'll be able to get your grubby paws on. Brown Bear The Brown Bear isn't particularly intelligent, but its other attributes make up for this. This creature is effective when physically assaulting enemy land but it takes alot of effort to get it to learn spells due to the fact that it isn't to smart. This is a good creature for either good or evil players. This creatures has to be unlocked with the completion of a challenge. Chimp I'm still busy experimenting with the Chimp, but so far it seems to be one of the more intelligent creatures. > From what i've seen it isn't bad in combat and even though i am in no doubt that the ape is still the brightest of the animals the Chimp isn't that far off. You can unlock the chimp on the third island. Cow The Cow is a great starting creature for any passive player due to its gentle nature and decent intelligence. This is one of the first creatures that you get. Gorilla After playing with the Gorilla for a while i've come to the conclusion that the only thing lacking with this creature is its intelligence which doesn't appear to be exceptional by any stretch of the imagination. To activate this creature you must download an activation file from one of the following sites: www.planetblackandwhite.com www.bwcenter.com www.bwgame.com After you've done this goto the special creature hut on the first or fourth island and exchange your current animal. Horse I haven't experimented with this creature enough to comment to much but it seems just like a real life horse with the stats you'd expect from this animal.Decent intelligence, fast runner, reasonable strength etc. Just like the Gorilla you have to download the activation file to get this creature working. Leopard Whilst this creature isn't to bright it definetly has its plus points with great speed and fantastic combat reaction times. In fact the only real problem with this beast is that just like the Tiger it is a complete and utter idiot. This creature requires an activation file. Lion My personal favourite the Lion along with the Ape is probably the best all round creature. This guy has Fantastic strength, he's pretty good in one on one combat,he's quick and you definetly can't say anything bad on the intelligence front. This creature has to be unlocked via the completion of a quest Mandrill I haven't experimented with this creature enough yet the one thing i can say though is Boy is this one ugly SOB!!! This creature needs an activation file From: bhutchy23@home.com I've been experimenting with the mandrill and I rather like him. He is a lot smarter than the gorilla and nearly as strong. Over all a very well-rounded creature, much like the lion only one step down in every aspect. Best thing about him is he has natural tendencies towards evil. He learns evil actions much quicker than good ones. Of all the creatures I've had time to experiment with, the mandrill ranks up as one of the most evil creatures in the game. I didn't see anything in your FAQ about natural tendencies, but I have definitely noticed some creatures are just more evil than others. It took me forever to get my cow to be evil, but only a few hours to get my mandrill totally evil. That didn't make sense because they have the same intelligence. Until I get some more solid info on this I just assume a creatures nature by what he is. From what I've noticed creatures are generally what you would expect them to be based on their real life animals (cow & sheep good, tiger & leopard evil). Ogre You can unlock this creature using the guide on hacking in this faq. Try this at your own risk. Polar Bear This could've been the best creature in the game if they'd just made it more intelligent. As it stands this creature is probably always going to be chosen on the basis of looks rather than statistics. It's a pitty really. This creature is unlocked via a challenge Rhino The Rhino activation file is not yet available for download. Keep checking the net though 'cause it is expected any day now! Sheep This Creature is just not good enough on any front with a lack of intelligence and general strength. There really isn't anything that stands out when talking about the sheep and i'd say it's best left alone. You need to complete a quest to unlock this animal. Tiger One Word : DUUUUUUUMB! The Tiger is easily the dumbest creature in the game and the Lion is so much better in almost every area including strength. The number one dumbass is selectable at the start of the game. Tortoise I haven't tested this animal. You have to unlock this creature via the completion of a challenge. Wolf Except for mediocre intelligence this is a pretty decent creature and it looks really cool when it is evil. You'll have to complete a challenge. Zebra I haven't tried this animal yet. If you have please mail me. I suspect that it is a very intelligent horse. You need to complete a challenge to unlock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------- ---------- Creature Statistics Table Thanx to The Black & White Center www.bwcenter.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------- ---------- Ape Fatness 5 Strength 3 Walking 7 Running 8 Reaction 5.5 Intelligence 8 Time to reach full size 1200 minutes Time to recover from combat 8 minutes Brown Bear Fatness 5 Strength 5 Walking 7 Running 9 Reaction 5.5 Intelligence 3.3 Time to reach full size 1600 minutes Time to recover from combat 7 minutes Chimp Fatness ? If you are interested in joining a clan for evil creatures goto http://www.creaturesofdeathmegaarmy.homestead.com/ and apply for a place.Just make sure your creature isn't nice! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alot of these actions are considered good, so obviously if you want to be evil you should just do the evil alternative mentioned or just attempt the opposite If you have any other info please mail me The game keeps track of what your creature believes and what you teach it about things. Everything that happens to your creature revolves around a few basic principles. Greed is different to Need thus if he is hungry, he is eating purely because he feels like it but if he is low on energy then it is regarded as a good action due to the fact that he really needs nourishment. Other examples are: When your drinks because it is dehydrated, it is a need so it isn't considered greedy When your creature drinks just for the hell of it, it's ovibiously being greedy and greed=evil! You should only let your creature eat when he is around 75% hunger, otherwise it is considered over indulgence Be very careful about stroking your creature after eating, because this can encourage him to eat more often. You should encourage your creature to be curious, because this makes it easier to teach him things. Some people that I know consider encouraging curiosity to be a good action and due to this when they play evil they will smack their titan instead of praising it. Do not go over the top when punishing your creature, because even if you are evil you don't want it to resent you. If you don't smack it enough though it is more than likely that it'll begin to disrespect you and this isn't a good thing. Also the creatures make alot of decisions based on their personal belief system so if you have a tiger, you shouldn't go over the top when it eats a villager because it naturally considers this a good action. You must also be careful when telling your creature not to poop on things, because this can have a very bad affect. In some cases people has reported that there titan has stopped doing its business altogether, and even though it hasn't been proven this could be detrimental to it's health. If your creature takes food from your people it is an evil action, but if you do it yourself it is considered neutral or good. It is considered evil when: Your creature takes sheep from a villager's flock Eats fish that are in an area that has been claimed by a villager Steals food from a field And when it eats the remains of dead villagers and/or their animals It is considered good or neutral when: Your creature takes food from the village store Eats wandering animals which don't belong to any particular villager You take food for it It casts miracles and eats the food from them The more your creature fights, the better he will become at it There are a few ways to make your titan more adept at fighting: Engage in more skirmishes with rival creatures Beat him yourself (with your hand) Make sure he sleeps in his pen Give him good long walks up steep hills and mountains Make him carry rocks and other heavy objects around Get him to play beachball (you get a ball on Level 1) Get him to throw stones-this is also a good offensive action for evil players Smack him if he gets frightened-this will reduce the chance of losing a fight Tips on making your creature grow nice and big ---------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure it gets plenty of rest Make it sleep in it's pen Keep it's strength up Make sure it's fat is at 50% or maybe slightly more Don't let it get too fat because this isn't good for it's growth Try not to do too many miracles because this detracts from it's energy levels and it needs energy to grow. Pay it loads of attention Try to avoid letting it faint from exhaustion or damage because this may stunt it's growth. Let it rest at night When feeding it force it to eat alot and then slowly start feeding it slightly less until you are satisfied with the amount it is eating and it's fat levels Naturally meat is more fattening than grain and fish just like in real life If you know anymore on creature growth please mail me Thanx to all the people who contributed these views on these message boards www.gamefaqs.com www.gamewinners.com www.bwgame.com There is an even more indepth guide on the internet at http://www.wischik.com/lu/senses/bwcreature.html#beliefs That covers the things I have mentioned and much more! Go check it out! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------- ---------- Patching the Game It seems that quite a few people have had problems finding it on planetblackandwhite if this is the case, read the details below. This requires the download of DeFroster from www.planetblackandwhite.com The Download is 2.2 mb and you'll will need winrar or another zipping utility to extract it. Once extracted make sure you have 200mb free hd space because the setup will extract certain files to your harddisk. After installation just run the game and your problems should be solved. If they aren't then you'll just have to wait for the release of the official patch. Many people seem to be having problems finding the files so here is an extract from the readme telling you how to do it manually: "***OPTION A: (Manual: Move the audio files yourself)*** 1) Insert Black & White CD-ROM 2) Open up two explorer windows 3) In the first window, locate the audio directory on your Black & White CD-ROM (ex. E:\Audio) 4) In the second window, locate the Black & White install directory (Default: "C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\Black & White") 5) Drag the Audio directory from your CD-ROM (e:\audio) and drop it into the same directory where the audio directory is on your hard drive (C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\Black & White") Notes: *You are essentially moving 222MB of music files and placing them on your hard disk. *Drop the audio directory from the CD-ROM ALONGSIDE, not directly ON TOP of the audio directory on your hard disk. 6) Hit "YES To All", when you see this: "This folder already contains a folder named 'Audio.' 7) Hit "YES To All" to any other copy messages. 8) It takes approximately 3-12 minutes to copy the files depending on the speed of your CD- ROM." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------- Playing Evil ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------ ------------------- Some people may say playing evil is easy, but its not! In fact if you don't think properly about your next devious deed you can ruin the whole level for yourself. I've been playing evil since i bought the game and i've got to say that it is much more fun than being good ( well at least until they release the patch that makes micromanagement slightly easier ). I plan to make this guide as indepth as possible and because of this it might take a while for me to fill in all of the islands.Currently i'm analysing level 4 and I hope to have my guide for it up within the next week. Until then happy reading!!! From: bhutchy23@home.com You know how the game tells you if you give your creature a one-shot miracle he'll cast it right away, but it never seems to work that way? Most people say he has to know the miracle first. Still others say its totally random whether or not he casts it. Well the truth is one-shot miracles and miracle dispensers work just like everything else in the game. The creature has to learn how to use them by watching you pick them up and cast them. Once he has learned to use them a whole new world of opportunity opens. If your creature doesn't know the miracle you give to him he will try to cast it. Of course he will fail since he doesn't know the miracle, but his % in learning that miracle goes up just as if he had watched you do it. This is great because you don't have to worry about whether or not he is paying any attention to you casting it. Also once he has learned the miracle he will cast it using his own energy, then if he still feels like casting he will grab the miracle off the dispenser on his own and use it. Now there is nothing wrong with your creature using one-shots that are in your influence, but there is opportunity for evil here. If your creature comes across a dispenser or one-shot miracle while outside your influence he may grab it. Comes up on the creature help as "your creature wants to steal". If you let him (or encourage him) he will grab the miracle and run like hell back to your temple, then set the miracle down and go back to whatever he was doing. I was raining hell down on an enemy village in a skirmish game and next thing I know there are half a dozen one-shot miracles in my creature's pen. That was with the tiger too! Imagine what kind of damage an intelligent creature could do! Not on the evil side, but definitely cool: I taught my creature to poop on his fallen victims after combat. This is easiest to teach on the first island. Your creature considers all other creatures as the same thing for the most part. So when he had to poop I clicked on the creature guide (since he is one of the only creatures that will just stand there), then gave him a good rub afterwards. After doing that once or twice he learned that it is good to poop on other creatures. Since he can't do it while fighting, he does it after (supposing of course that he needs to, but that is easily arranged). There really is nothing better than watching my creature beat the **** out of someone then give it all back. Level I You may think that because this is a tutorial level you can't be really really evil, but on the contrary this island is great for teaching your creature all of those nasty tricks! Just by playing this stage for a few hours, by the time i got to the second level my Citadel had massive nasty spikes with bats flying around it and my creature was starting to grow teeth and nails that could decapitate an Elephant! Here are a few of the things that i did on this level to be very very evil: When my creature picked up Sable and threw her instead of smacking him i gave him a good stroke and a villager as a reward. I then put the leash of aggression on him and we had a nice game of villager catch. After the stupid woman said that she'd taught me everything that she knew about animals i thought what's the point of keeping her alive and promptly fed her to my drooling Lion. When my consciences told me to try chucking stones at the rock pile instead of doing that , I used the leash of learning and chucked them at a nearby cottage instead! Needless to say my creature started joining in and pretty soon after that the little abode was nothing more than a pile of smoking rubble! So onto the fishermen saving quest, what may i ask is the fun in saving a bunch of dumb villagers who spend their lives catching food and drinking gin!? Well after that woman rather bluntly told me to save her husband and his friends i decided that i wasn't going to tolerate her insolence and I chucked her loved ones into the sea! She then went on at me saying that she wasn't going to forget this and i thought screw this promptly hurling her into the waves as well! Since I'd already unlocked the rather boring, tedious sheep i didn't really see the point in doing it all over again so my creature ate quite well that night with the farmer making a good pudding. (even if he was rather full of gristle) The Hermit was irritating me, so i dropped a rock on his head and those stupid titantic imposters shutup quite nicely when i hurled them back into the sea! (it seems they didn't need a boat after all) Now it was time for my creature to learn the art of contamination. After I fed him six cows, three children and a rather overweight woman he made a rather large poop. Now we couldn't just have that piece of crap lying around 'cause it would just be a waste (even though it did seem to give the villagers a sudden urge to bring up their breakfast.) So being my creative self i put my creatures leash on and promptly hurled the warm soggy brownies into the village storage! I don't know why but the little people didn't seem to like it?! A small price to pay for my lion to learn a new trick though. After you've done all of the aformentioned things a few times your world should start looking very evil indeed. Good Job! Level II < Aaaaaaah! Level II and a whole load of new people to torment!! This is where micromanagement comes in and being evil you wouldn't want to satisfy your worshippers needs would you?! A lovely new ability makes an appearance in this level along with spells, the chance to sacrifice your minions!!! You wake up in the morning and what better way to start the day than by sacrificing a newborn child in front of its parents!!! Watch them scream and beg as their little one perishes within a burning furnace of flames!! That got their belief in you back pretty quickly didn't it?! Use your creatures poop supplying tricks to bring even more pain to your people's digestive systems before you burn them with a well timed fireball! There are other tribes in this land as well, and that means more pain can be caused than ever before!! At one point you will be given the chance to save some villagers who've been poisoned by their own food, but being evil you're not going to help them are you!? No, it's a far better idea to let them perish as you giggle with glee and when every one of them is dead steal the bad consumables and utilise them in your evil ways! This level ends with your creature getting captured by your foe but as you leave the island don't take your followers; leave them to suffer and starve in a crumbling world instead!!! From: bhutchy23@home.com It is considered a majorly evil act if you take over Khazar's main village on the second island. As soon as I took over his main village Blackie came up and said to "look out the window for a full moon tonight", and it has been there every night since. I wasn't even very evil at the time (a few small spikes on the temple is all), and still wasn't very evil after. I assume its an Easter egg since I never noticed any kind of moon before. Special treat for the betrayal or am I just unobservant? Blackie hinted that the moon will turn blood red eventually when I am evil enough, but I'm not there yet Level III > Oh shame, your poor creature's been captured! Make the most of it, because this is your only chance to show any sort of compassion in the whole game! There aren't many quests on this land, but the ones that are featured can be quite useful. On a small island across the way from your citadel there is a hill, on top of this sits a Yogi. (No Not the bear you idiot!!) He tells you not to follow him but you're evil so stuff him! This can be quite difficult, but once you've successfully chased all the way he'll give you some rather useful help. 1)After you've claimed the first village Lethys will set your villagers on fire (Burn Baby Burn!!) and the Yogi will give you some water miracles to put them out. Of course if you're truly evil like me, you should forget about helping them, grab some popcorn and watch the fireworks! 2)After you claim the second village Lethys will send a pack of wolves in and the Yogi will help you again. Now if the wolves devoured your villagers, i'd encourage you to leave them , but unfortunately they don't so use those fire miracles to burn the forest as they run through it and enjoy the steak!! 3)Finally, he supplies you with the blueprints for a wonder. Wonders are for goodie goodie's but if you want you can construct it. (Don't say i said it was a good idea) After you've captured the third village, you will be able to visit an old hag's hut, situated near to your newly aquired establishment. She says that she can give the power of youth to the old, and if you bring her three or more adults to transforms she gets dizzy. When this happens bring her a little boy and she'll make a mistake, luckily this error gets you a secret creature. A Chimp. You shouldn't use it though 'cause it likes to be good EEEEEEEEW! To help you with all of your villager-destroying tactics there is a little man situated near a waterfall close to your village. If you zoom in you'll hear his cries of "You can't hurt me!" and "Please don't throw me around?!" and you shouldn't have any problems spotting him sitting next to a campfire.Even though he's very irritating he can actually be quite useful, since wherever you throw him he creates an area of influence which obviously helps when it comes to village wrecking. When you're done with him, prove to him that only you are immortal by sacrificing him, this doesn't always work but when it does it bags you a whole load of prayer points! ( of course all of the good gods would miss out on this! HAAAAHAAA) After you've done all of this claim the last village to finish the level, just don't forget to beat the **** out of Chugworth first! Level IV ( coming when patch is released ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The reason that I'm waiting for the patch is that until it is released there is no point in progressing past level four because of a bug listed in my guide that destroys your creatures growth and strength permanently. If you wish to submit your own strategy for the level please do, but I won't be updating mine until i feel an adequate patch has been released. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Silver Scroll Quests --------------------------------------------- This section will not be updated until the patch is released --------------------------------------------- Land 1 Stone Throwing ---------------------- Good Way --------------- Do as good and evil both suggest and throw rocks at the pillar Reward:Chest with a beach ball Evil Way --------------- You may notice a hut posistioned close to your location chuck rocks at it for your own enjoyment. Reward:Creature strength miracle dispenser Evil Way ------------- Do the quest and then chuck the fishermen and the fat woman who gave you the quest into the water or you could just leave them to drown Reward:Creature strength miracle dispenser Restoring Musical Stone Circle ----------------------------------------- There isn't really an evil way to complete this quest Good Way You must find and place all of the stones in the correct order to complete this quest Here are the locations: Note: Tap the stones to hear their musical note 1)Right next to the circle of singing stones 2)Near the hermit and where the sickman is 3)In the hermit guy's quarry 4)Near where you start the level close to the beach 5)Close to the graveyard which is located in the village Good Reward:Food Dispenser Helping the farmer find the straying sheep -------------------------------------------------------- Good Way Note if you find all of them you unlock the sheep creature Locations of the sheep 1)Near the palm trees at the start of the stage 2)Near where you practice stone throwing 3)On the mountainside near your starting location 4)Near the sickman and hermit 5)Next to where the stone sculptor works 6)Behind the huge gate leading to the ark 7)Near one of the singing stones close to the fishermen 8)With some pigs in a farm located out of the village 9)Close to the quarry (the camera zooms out to this location when you first get the quest) Good Reward: Sheep if you find them all and a stack of food Evil Way: Use your imagination Evil Reward: Absolutely Nothing!! Helping Louts/Emigrants with their imitation ark ---------------------------------------------------------------- First they ask for wood so just fetch some trees and "supply" their boat After a few verses you need to find some grain or fish. After some more drunken singing go off and get some meat to complete this quest; a cow is fine but you can also use a sheep if you've already completed the aformentioned quest. After this watch the sequence and pickup you reward.Notice the reference to a certain oscar winning movie? Good Reward: Miracle Water Dispenser Evil Way: Throw them into the sea, feed them to your creature just use your wicked mind. Evil Reward: Nothing!! Note: If you do kill one of the men just put one of your villagers there to replace him. Impressing the hermit ------------------------------- Good Way Notice all of those large trees posistioned around his hut? Why not remove them and place little bushes in their place before bringing your creature to him? Now he's impressed! Good Reward: Water miracle dispenser Evil Way I'm not sure if this is true but g_bringer@hotmail.com says that if you destroy his hut he comes and attempts to destroy your village.Give it a try and see what happens. Evil Reward: The amusement of watching a little geek trying to stop you and your titan! Pied Piper of Hamlin Wannabe! ------------------------------------------ Good Way Find the little bugger and leash your creature to him;he will panic allowing your titan to pick him up.Carefully place him next to the cave and he will set all of the children free.Just make sure that you have the leash of compassion on your animal or the little guy might just turn into a delicious snack! Good Reward: Heal Miracle Dispenser Evil Way Who cares about the piper!? He's sick anyway! Get your creature to eat him or even better watch him slowly drown in the sea! Evil Reward: Lightning miracle dispenser Mushroom Cooking Quest ------------------------------------- Good Ways NOTE: If you don't have a force feedback enabled mouse this quest won't appear in the game! Too Baaaaaad!!! Feel your way around to find the correct mushroom and just chuck it into the pot to complete the quest. Good Reward: Loving Creature Miracle Dealing with the starved ogre --------------------------------------- Good Way Do as your good side suggests and give him some food then when he falls asleep just sneak past him Good Reward: Improved healing miracle dispenser and Beach Ball Evil Way Just equip the leash of agression and slug it out!! Evil Reward: Same as good -------------------------------------------------------------------- Land 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Stopping the swimming children -------------------------------------------- Good Way Just like with the drowning fishermen scroll quest your creature is the only one who can help here;just get it to pick them up and carefully take them to their mother (just make sure you've got the leash of compassion equipped) Of course just like with most things in this game there is an alternative route;why not bring the mother to the children and watch the fireworks! Good Reward: ???????????? (i forgot what it is so could someone please mail me) Evil Way Kill the children, feed them to your creature or slaughter the mother. It's all up to you. Evil Reward: NOTHING!! Villagers dying because of off food ----------------------------------------------- Good Way Well it's rather obvious where the source of the problem is since the food looks a rather unhealthy colour. Now all you have to do is drain the green grain from the store and quickly replace it with fresh stock. After you've done this just quickly heal the rest of the ill before more people die and you've completed the quest. Good Reward: Lightning Miracle Evil Way Let the villagers die and then use the bad food against your enemies;this is very effective because they are also completely clueless!! Evil Reward: Some amusing scenes of mass destruction!! Musical Stones ----------------------- Good Way I'm not sure how to complete this quest, and I don't really have time to figure it out so if you can help please mail me. Good Reward ???????????? Evil Way I'm not sure how to do this either so could someone please mail me. Evil Reward ??????????? Relocating The Priest's Temple ----------------------------------------- Good Way I've completed this quest but i'm not 100% sure how to do it so if someone has a complete solution could they please mail me. Good Reward: Whenever someone goes near your temple it will cast increased healing on them. Evil Way Move the impatient priest's abode around until you're satisfied with the damage you've dished out!!! Evil Reward: N.O.T.H.I.N.G What does that spell? NOTHING!!!! Criminal Children (cow thieves) ------------------------------------------- Good Way: If they've already got a cow with them just pick it up and return it to the others. These children need to be terrified before they stop though so just cast a fire spell to injure them slightly (you might have to heal them) and this should put an end to it all! Good Reward: More powerful lightning miracle for your village Evil Way: Just do whatever you like to one of the kids to discourage the others to complete the quest. Evil Reward: More powerful lightning miracle for your village Save the circus slaves ------------------------------ Good Way: Bring animals to trade in for the slaves. I know that the animals are worth a certain number of people each but i'm not sure about the values. Could someone please mail me. Good Reward: NOTHING!!! Evil Way: Kill one of the men at the circus and watch them go on a rampage around your village! Isn't it amusing?! Fake Idol Worshippers!! -------------------------------- Good Way: Just put a tree next to the idol and set it alight;it'll shatter and the villagers will be impressed! Good Reward: I can't remember (please can someone mail me) Evil Way: If you're evil what do you do to people stupid enough to worship another god? Kill them of course!! Evil Reward: Blackie is pleased other than that I can't remember! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------- Island 3 Following the Yogi/Guru ---------------------------------------- Good Way: This can be tricky and requires alot of patience but just stick at it and you'll get there. Slowly follow him making sure that you never lose sight of him. At certain points there are checkpoints so if you fail you restart here. Once you're finished he is impressed and you get some very useful rewards. Good Reward(s): 1)After you capture the first village Lethys will set some of your villagers alight when this happens the Yogi will give you some free water miracles. 2)After you capture the second village Lethys will send a pack of wolves in and the Yogi will give you some fire miracles to set the forest alight as they run through it. 3)Finally the Yogi will give the blueprints for a wonder. Evil Way: There is a way to get to the Yogi listed elsewhere in my guide;once you've done this use your sick twisted imagination. Evil Reward(s): NOTHING but amusement! Tree puzzle ------------------------------------------- Good Way: This simply comes down to trial and error and thus there is no fixed solution. Good Reward: Flying Creatures Miracle Evil Way: We're talking about a bunch of trees here!!! Evil Reward: Nothing! Hag offers gift of youth ----------------------------------------- Good Way: Send three adults to her and she'll get dizzy now take a little boy there and you'll get your prize! |
