If suddenly the apocalypse happened right now, as in all power wiped out, what would you do for survival?

All power wiped out...so a blackout? :L

Well I have the Zombie Survival Guide book. Not sure if that'd help much, though.

Run around in circles, then stop, then id go do something to save myself, like uhh, food, water, and shelter

the most basic thing u could do is get batteries and wear night vision goggles or something or use batteries for flashight

I would have thought getting batteries for a flashlight would go along with the whole "survival" aspect, but whatever.

The original post stated the apocalypse such as the power going out, and didn't mention anything about zombies. I'm pretty sure a flashlight with batteries is a lot more of the so-obvious-it-doesn't-really-need-to-be-mentioned item here.

I would first look for a place, such as my chicken coop. I would then use however much time the power is gone to live inside my chicken coop. For meals, I would start a fire and cook. For warmth, I would use blankets. For shelter, I would use my chicken coop. If I need more food, I break into Wal-Mart or kill a horse.
