Yeah.. |

Sorry.. |

I was just thinking how there's nobody to debate on Apple's side. |
![]() AlexGETsomePIE |
There is plenty to argue in Apple's favor, you just have to take out the bias of everything that everyone on the internet seems to have in regards to technology. |

I never really used an Apple products in my life, so it's a bad subject for me. |

It sounds like they stretch Apple copyrights to do it, silly Apple holding back on variety. I don't really like how the Apple computers look; too white and roundish. |

In Germany PearC is completely legal. |

edited by Author | dec 08, 2010 12:22 am It just sounds like PearC can only sell Apple softwared computers because they don't pre-install the OS. I mean Windows comes on.. Acer, Toshiba, Dell, HP, and Samsung just to name ones I know of. Maybe Apple would do better if they had more choices. |

Maybe they would do better if they sold at reasonable margins, you mean. |
![]() Custard |
Reswonable margins of what? |
![]() AlexGETsomePIE |
A margin is a price a company sells their products at for profit. |
![]() Custard |
Oh, yes prices. I'm not one to look much, but from what I see Apple overprices all it's products far too much. Take the iPod for example. You can get an iPod whatever for $200, and you can get an MP4 that does all the same stuff PLUS doesn't force you to use iTunes where you have to PAY for music all for $120 or something. I think Apple deserve half the crap the internets heap on it. |

Well over half, probably. You know Steve Jobs? He wasn't even the original creator of Macintosh. It was Steve Wozniak that was a programmer, and Jobs came in saying "You know what? You can sell these things and make millions..." so then they teamed up. |

I found it funny how they were bootlegging Microsoft software before that. |
![]() pyro777 |
I don't recall them doing that. In fact, Gates had some troubles getting Windows to be his own production because of Macintosh for some reason. |
![]() Custard |
When Microsoft first started selling its Windows software some people started making unauthorized copies (to sell for themselves I assume). Copyrights on computer software were pretty.. non-exsistant back then, since Gates was the first one who considered software as something worth selling. The unauthorized copying wasn't even discreet so Gates heard about it soon and got mad. He lodged a complain to some authorities and won a copyright, the butthurt copiers went on to be the Apple company. |

I've had the same Samsung MP3 for over a year I think. I've dropped it off numerous high places, got it wet, gone through many sets of generic headphones, outlasted all my friends iPods. It cost me absolutely nothing for the +200 songs on it, the player was about $70. Sure, it can't browse the internet or get apps and stuff, but I honestly never seen the charm in having the internet on your music player. I mean if I'm out of the house I'm usually out to get off the computer, I guess busier people would find it more useful. Then again, I'm yet to meet a person with an iPod that doesn't have two or three internet enabled mobiles phones anyway. Soon there'll be toasters with the internet on them. |

iPhone is like a portable mix of a flash game site with a Nintendo DS and a cell phone. |
![]() Custard |
Yeah, but you know ever since video gaming broke out of the basement there's been the huge market for casual games such as Wiifit and iPho- |
![]() AlexGETsomePIE |
Iphone games shouldn't really be considered games, more like gimmicky things that are used by Apple for commercials. They're bought, played for an hour, and never played again. |
![]() Custard |
Yeah like played by surfer dudes while waiting for their friends to pick them up, and the girls in the clubs who don't feel like dancing. I mean it may annoy any gamer who enjoys a bit more 'game' in their games, but I think casual stuff is only going to get bigger. |
