Ok, so I wanted to tell you guys the story of when I went to Gettysburg on my field trip. It was incredibly epic ;)

First of all, they dropped us off at this guard tower. If you heard my stories from a long time ago, you know David. He's rly afraid of heights. So while some girls are making fun of him, lots of us run up the tower and jump when we get to the top to scare the crap out of him xD He thought he was 300 ft in the air when it was 80. And then he found it his greatest accomplishment to come down from the tower.

Second, we went to this Union army fighting ground. We were on an upper field, and it was starting to rain. The tour guide told us not to jump on rocks or climb them but we did anyway. I was looking around and saw this kewl shrine things and decided to get a closer look. It wasn't rly a shrine, but when I got closer, a saw a miniature castle :o
I'm wasn't sure if I was allowed there so I quickly went inside. When I heard "dead ppl" I went back.

My friend Matt was like, "Are we allowed there?" He likes taking pictures. Alot of pictures. I said, "I dunno, but I went anyway." So he said thanks and ran off. It was starting to like RLY rain. When I got further away, I realized the castle had a lookout top and I wanted to go back. So my teacher chaparone, Mrs. Blatchford said she'd wait when she caught me running on wet rocks and I was like yeah and I kept running. Conveniently, there was a line going up cause of other schools.

I was like, "Darn, we're gonna get soaked." Not that I already was soaked. I was just covered in rain. Matt was like, "Yeah, but at least the view will be nice."
Finally, the last person came down and I ran up first. The view was pretty awesome, and there was only two of us there. I can't believe no one else of thought of going there. Until Mrs. B came with this kids Zsofi and Ed. They're two kids who follow teachers around.

Wow was basically what I said, I was happy to be up there. The rain was coming through my hat so I was combing my hair with my fingers. Then Matt made fun of me and said "I dun think you should be fixing your hair right now." And I was like, "Ehh fine" and put my hat back on. Not that it helped, we were already rly wet and it started pouring. I said, "Well... I think I've absorbed the view. I'm gonna go now before I get totally soaked." And Matt said, "I'm with you." And everyone followed me outside and into the paths to the buses.

I started running again. Matt and Mrs. B started nagging me not to run and I yelled back saying I was wearing boots, so I wouldn't slip. Haha. I almost forgot what our bus looked like. Soaking wet, I let some ppl before me then I climbed on to the bus. Everyone dropped their jaws and some smiled. Most dropped their jaws. My catty "friend", Kalashree, was like "What happened to you??" I said, "It was raining. ALOT." And some ppl said, "Jessica, you win." Rofl, I won. And I know everyone was jealous xP

Later, my jeans were still wet when we got off the bus again. Everyone didn't bring a coat (cause they wish they were as soaking wet as I was. jk) and got off. We were going to this huge monument place. The instant the guide told us we could climb onto the monument, we did. There were stairs to the top and I was the fifth one up there. Someone mentioned there was gum in this icky disgusting place no one could reach and I was like grosss. Mrs. B said to not add to the litter in the place. So Matt took out his gum and tossed it behind his shoulder. Then I made a face I guess cause he was like "Shhh. What? It wasn't there."

Later on, Matt showed me a pic of the inside of a cannon. Back then, I was young and naive and didn't know what the inside of a cannon looked like. I said, "Uh kewl, what is it?" And he told me it was the inside of a cannon. And I said, "Right... cause everyone knows that." The he laughed and said, "You didn't know." And something I couldn't hear.

Everything was boring until this part. This is the big finale. The tour guide was yapping on about something I don't recall and this tremendously loud thunder lightning strike flies over everyone's heads (At least our group, which is number 5). It was so close I could've sworn the lightning was light violet, and I stood there a petrified for a few seconds. Cause I'm like a bunny, I will have a heart attack if you do something very loud and sudden.

Then I realize everyone's running and half the girls are screaming. It's fun running with ppl, so I ran with them to the buses. I was running behind David and his friend Vinnie. Vinnie tripped and David tripped over him, cause David is uncoordinated xD I would've tripped over David and Vinnie if I did not move within a second and a half.

When I got back to the bus, I started laughing. I stayed out a little longer than the ppl running and screaming inside, cause I was hoping the lightning strike would come back. David said ppl trampled and kicked him. Including Vinnie, when he got up. Oh well. Rofl
