We all know how some words are censored while others aren't. This is a forum that talks about which of those words to censor, or which of them to uncensor if they're already censored yet they don't need to.

Lately, I've realized the amount of words that could use some fixing in the censoring department. For example, "N.ut". It gets really annoying on how a mere slang word like that is censored. I mean, we don't have a problem with people saying or spamming "N.uts" all the time, so why is it that a hard piece of food is considered bad? Infact, I pretty much hate how it's censored because it even affects words like "min.ute".

The word nut isn't like the F word or even Hell, so, for a website that mostly consists of users 10 and up, I don't see why saying n.ut should be a problem.

What about st*pid? It isn't a rude word. I mean, young kids pretty much use it... and yeah.

None. Every word should be uncensored, why don't people realize there just words...It's like racism, people don't know what it is. They assume that if someone calls someone a beaner or nigger or something their racist well they are not. Now if they offered change to a homeless person and gave none to a black homeless guy then that's racist. Jeez...

Of course they're only words. But I would rather have them censored so people like you don't go around and pretty much spam them. Almost every single question of yours has one. And for no reason. It doesn't make you cool. It makes you a wannabe cool kid.

Anyway, nuts. Minute. I don't believe the "n.ut" in those are censored now.

The other day they were censored. Oh well.

Next word, as Ninja said, S.tupid. This is the Internet. People should expect to hear the words "S.tupid" and "I.diot" at some point. It might not be needed, but again, the point of censoring is to prevent words from offending more language sensitive users. Censoring those two words won't really change the meaning.

If you place text after censored words they aren't censored.

All words should be uncensored, but everything worse then the word crap should be.

Theres no point of censoring word, more people try to cover it up (like "@ss, F#ck,ect)

But I'd say ***,st.upid,id.tiot, shouldn't be cencored.
