You just need to be patient and refresh your profile page a few times.

The only reason why it's a Salamance still there (but, which I see it's a Glaceon now) is
that sometimes Cheatsguru act funny after you save a new avatar.

Just go to your profile and hit refresh. Your avatar should magically change into
something else in your vision. And there you go: you have a cute Glaceon.

What you are calling a site glitch is actually the browsers doing.

In Firefox, probably others as well, the browser actually saves images in it's temporary
memory so that it can load previously visited pages a lot faster. Meaning if you go back
to a page you've recently visited then Firefox will just save time and assume the images
that were there before are still the same.

The best way to make your new avatar show up is just refresh twice, the browser will
always reload all images if you refresh a page you're already on.

Or maybe it's just that the avatars are loaded into a cache and when a page is refreshed,
the cache is too.

I really don't know how it all works...
