either cold resist, half or no cold time, or lots and lots of luck

Using cold resistances won't work because Duriel's aura is a demon aura, not elemental -
technacally speaking.

Necromancer - use a golem and while duriel is distracted, use amplify damage or iron
maiden on Duriel - keep using those curses and resummon as soon as your golem dies (it
doesn't really matter what golem you have).

Socceress - Use fire wall and teleport in a combination - put a fire wall behind Duriel
and teleport behind him/her(?) and have Duriel walk into the fire wall continually until
Duriel dies.

Paladin - Just use your Thorns aura on Duriel with plenty of rejuvination and health
potions.

Barabarian - Using leap and leap attack in a pattern - leap attack on him then leap away -
you can't get attacked while leaping.

Amazon - Buy a hireling and use him/her to distract Duriel while you attack with you
ranged weapon , you need skills in evade avoid and all those other passive skills in order
to do well. Hit and run is your best strategy.

Assasin - Cloak of shadows helps a lot while you attack with a hireling and a ranged
weapon , keep recasting cloak of shadows while you attack from afar.

Druid - Using firestorm or fissure along with poison vine.
