1.If something is wrong with it(Like a soft shell)
2.If it's violet,for some reason

This isn't a showcase where you advertise your dragons. If you have less than 3 days left, take it to the ER. You're dragons will almost always be saved if you take it to an ER. There's a cheat listed on how to use an ER.
