I need a walkthrough on how to beat the mummy dragon in the sandsea I have no dark weapons or a dragonamulte.

When i fight using my dragon i do not have the options either side of the attack button that i usually have on my mage. They are all locked, which means i can never beat anyone on my dragon! Anyone know how i can get them unlocked? I have a DA and am a Level 17. Cheers
