Empire: Total War Q&A

I know what the cheats are but where do I type them in? Do I type them in during a sea or land battle or in the campaign map? Is there some sort of a tablet or window I have to type them in?

My first major problem with this game is the timed ending. You play for hours and then have to do it all over again if you don't beat the clock.

Not fun.

Is there a cheat to disable the timed ending? If they did that, I'd leave Civ 4 and Rome: Total War to...
