Basic short-cut Keys [SK] ============================== W, S, A, D = Move forward, backward, left and right. W & A while flying = Dive down and Fly up pressing "W" twice = Will make your character run/walk forward Automatically X = Toggle between Walk/Run Space Bar = Jump ; While riding on a broom or board it will let you accelerate and also stop F1 ~ F9 = Your 9 customizable hotkeys slot 1 - 4 = To be able to switch to 4 different kinds of hot keys 9 = Save current position to txt file at your flyff folder 0 = Take a Screenshot of your game which is saved at your Flyff folder\capture R = Open a Shop/Store Esc = Removes Target on person/monster Z = Lock-on Target Flying Creature (And only while Flying) Tab = Change Target Insert = Attack Flying Creature T = Status Window H = Character Window N = Navigator Map M = Motion Window I = Inventory Window K = Skill window Page up/Page down = Zoom in / Zoom out cursor keys = to look in the direction of the cursor E = Pulls out messenger window (Friend/party/guild List) Q = Quest Logs P = Party Window G = Guild Window C = Use your skills in the Action/Combo slot Left Mouse button(LMB) = Run/walk towards clicked spot = Target Enemy Double click = Activates Auto-Attack if clicked repeatedly = Attack Land/Flying enemies repeatedly Hold Down Ctrl button = Activates Auto-Attack Hold down Alt button = Allows you to Trade, Invite party, Add messeger, Duel, Party Duel, Follow Right Mouse button(RMB) = when hold down allow to adjust/rotate your view = also allows you to turn when flying Double click = Auto Follow the mouse, Flies automatically using the mouse movements to direct it. Warning: If your mouse is over a monster other than the one your attacking and you use a skill it will use that skill on the monster where the mouse is, even though it is not clicked ========================================== B. Status Window (Press T in game) [TW] ========================================== Details Tab ----------- HP = Your Life Bar or Health Points. If its 0 then more likely youre dead MP = Your Mana Points or Magic points for casting spells and buffs FP = Your Fight Points for using Special Attacks (Physical). Exp = Your Experience Bar, if it reaches 100% then you level up Pxp = Your Penalty Experince Bar, When you die it is automatically 0% it is used up whenever you level up a skill by using them. As long as there is sufficient amount of percentage your skills will increase in level at the cost of reducing your own exp. Whenever you kill a monster Pxp bar will fill up first before your exp. * Dont really know what FP stands for but since only fighters uses them I call them Fight points for lack of creative/Imaginative name for it. Press "H" to view them Your Four Stats where you distribute points into (Located in your Character window the Default tab) Str (Strength) = Increases Attack Rate Sta (Stamina) = Increases Defence Power, HP, FP, HP Regen, FP Regen Dex (Dexterity) = Increases Evasion; Attack speed; Hit Rate Int (Intelligence)= Increases Magic Attack, MP, and MP Regen A.Rt = Influenced by Weapons and Str D.Rt = Influenced by all your armors from head to toe and Sta Ev = How often you dodge enemies attack. Inflenced by 2pts Dex [Even nos.] Res = Resistance to special Attack. Anyway its almost always 0 so far no type of item or buffs increases this as of yet Important notice: As a Vagrant your stat points are not permanent you will have a stat reset the moment you reach your first job. And shall have your 28 points to distribute wherever you please. Base Tab -------- (pretty much self explanatory but what the heck) Name: your character name ('nuff said) Job: Your Current Class Level: what level you currently are you can also see this on the status screen Aviation Level: activates the moment you hit level 20. Travel Exp: make it 100% and you will level up your Aviation. Only increses by Fighting Flying monsters *What Leveling up Avaitaion will do? I have no Idea, I would appreciate it if you mail me if you find out. ŻŻ Unless ofcourse you have 0% pxp (you can see this on status window) = If the triangle looks like this, a minus sign, then that means skill is disable preventing it from gaining Exp or any level Mastery of skill is Achieved if Skill Exp is replaced with the words Mastery And How do You put skills in the Action slot -------------------------------------------- Be observant of the shape of the icon for the skill.Perfect squares you can put one on top of the other. If its not a perfect square then they should look like puzzle pieces... because they are. You can drag them one by one or double click the skill icon to be automatically placed on the Action slot (If it is empty). *Dunno where the Action slot is? look on your lower Right hand corner it has an S diamond and with the words Action lot written on top of it. C = Ending Combo - Last piece of the puzzle. Nothing can be place after it D = Skill - Just ordianary skill that can be stacked * I made up the names because that's how I call them. Getting Started $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Character Creation For now the Game allows you to have a Maximum of 3 Characters. You can choose between male or female. Your also allowed to customize eyes and hair. I would recommend on choosing eyes that you are comfortable with since there's a beauty parlor npc which will allow you to change your Hair Style and color(RBG). Now that you have selected your character or Avatar you begin as a Vagrant Its the newbie class. All Stats are set to default which is 15 Job Classes =============== Vagrant [VAG] =============== The newbie Character. It is the beginning class. According to Wikipedia, A vagrant is a person who is almost always poor, without home or regular work. hmmm we have a lot of that in our country. Too bad they dont grow rich by killing things and getting penyas...... Oh! wait, they do....... joke. But it does kinda make you think. anyway its really a joke. Things you should know when your a Vagrant. ------------------------------------------- -Your a newb or newbie not a noob. One can be high level and still be a noob -Stats are not permanent till you change to your 1st job -The only skills that consume your pxp is Overcutter -You Change job at level 15, talk to juria when you do -You dont need Int -Dont bother killing the EronsCatcher, no exp, no drops, no nothing Skill Tree ----------- *All Vagrant Skills can be used by all classes Clean Hit - Openning Combo --------- Prerequisite: Char Lv 3 Description : Nothing much actually, but it is my most used skill FP usage : 5fp (+1 FP every Skill lv up starting from lv 6) Mastery Lv : 10 Brandish - Linking Combo -------- Prerequisite: Char Lvl 6, Clean hit Lvl 3 Desription : Hits Enemy with Multiple speed blows (3 times) A linking skill, can not be used independently, you need to put together with a Combo Openner in the Action Slot in the lower right hand corner, combine it like a puzzle FP Usage : 10 (+2 FP on level 4) Mastery lv : 10 OverCutter - Final Combo ---------- Prerequisite: Char lv. 10, Brandish Lv 3 Description : A Final Blow skill, can not be use independently, will send enemy flying if used as a final killing blow FP Usage : 15 Mastery Lv : 10 *To level up brandish quicker you could try placing them as such. Clean hit > Brandish > Brandish > Brandish ================ Mercenary [MER] ================ It is the Fighter class on most RPG's. Its weapons are like that of a Vagrants The Sword and Axe. Mercenries from what I know are like Soldiers for Hire. They owe no alligiance to anyone, they are loyal as long as you pay them. Job Change Quest ---------------- -Talk to Juria and select the mercenary class, she will instruct you to go See Valin. -Valin is northwest of town, Check your map if its a blue dot its an NPC. -After talking to Valin, he will ask you to get his Lunch from Rosha. Do it -After returning, he will give you a broken Bravery sword and tell you to go see Boboku to repair the brave sword. -Boboku asks you to Slay grownup lawolf to obtain 20 Vision stones (SPecial) -Return it to him then show it to valin, and now your a merc and you have your new sword which proves your a merc. *Here's a tip buy a new sword its better. Things you should know when youre a Mercenary --------------------------------------------- -Lets face it you dont need int. you dont use MP either -Decide which you wanna become Knight or Blade, then decide your weapon -Sword, a Fast weapon but not as damaging as an AXe -Axe, A High Damaging weapon but not as fast as the Sword -Without an Axe or Sword you cant use your offensive skills -Without a shield you cant use your defensive skills -Stat points are permanent now Skill Tree ---------- Splmash - Openning Combo ------- Prerequisite: Char lv 15 Description : A charge attack Deals 2 quick blows to target enemy FP Usage : Mastery Lvl : 20 Keenwheel - Linking Combo --------- Prerequisite: Char lv 18, Splmash lv 4 Description : A spinning Attack, Deals 3 quick blows FP Usage : Mastery Lv : 20 Blindside - Final Combo --------- Prerequisite: Char lv 24, Keenwheel lv 6 Description : Deals one powerful blow, Sends enemy Flying if the skill deals the Final Killing Blow FP Usage : Mastery Lv : 20 Special Hit ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 30, Blindside lv 8 Description : (?) It was said if Timed right can send enemy Flying, (not tested yet, tried to do it but still nothing happens maybe my timing is wrong,dunno I'll see what it can do on higher levels) FP Usage : 55 Mastery Lv : 20 Bloody Strike - Linking Combo ------------- Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Splmash lv 3 Description : Absorbs HP of Target Enemy per Hit FP Usage : Mastery Lv : 20 Reflex Hit ---------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Bloody Strike lv 8 Description : A charge attack, Skill Damage plus Adds damage received while charging back at the target enemy FP Usage : Mastery Lv : 20 Guilotine --------- Prerequisite: Char lv 30, Reflex Hit lv 10 Description : The only Ranged attack of a Mercenary FP Usage : 55 Mastery Lv : 20 Sneaker ------- Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Pan Barrier lv 10 Description : FP Usage : 55 MAstery Lv : 20 Empower Weapon - Elemental Weapon Needed -------------- Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Protection lv 5 Description : Enhances Elemental properties of a weapon FP Usage : MAstery Lv : 20 Smite Axe - Axe Skill --------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Empower Weapon lv 4 Description : Increases Axe damage every 2 skill level FP Usage : 30 MAstery Lv : 20 Axe Mastery - Axe Skill ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 30, Smite Axe lv 9 Description : Increases Axe damage every skill level FP Usage : 55 MAstery Lv : 20 Blazing Sword ------------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Empower Weapon lv 4 Description : Increases Sword damage every 2 skill level FP Usage : 30 MAstery Lv : 20 Sword Mastery - Sword Skill ------------- Prerequisite: Char lv 30, Blazing Sword lv 9 Description : Increases Sword damage every skill level FP Usage : 55 MAstery Lv : 20 =============== Assist [ASI] =============== Well plainly its name means to help out. And that is what exatly it does With its wide variety of buffs, heals and resurrection. They can help you in your time of need. And not to mention help themselves. The only 1st job that can use both MP and FP the combination between Mercenary and Magician Job Change Quest ---------------- -Talk to Juria and select assist class. You need to go talk to Rooney now -Rooney is just north of town and west of dunkan/stin. -After Talking to Rooney, he will ask you to deliver a letter to his brother Lui -Go do it, then afterwards return to rooney and he will ask you to get some LuxStone items for him. You will need 10 from Captain Pukepuke, 8 from Doridoma, and lastly 3 from Grownup Lawolfs (All Special Items). -Give it to Rooney and your an Assist with a pathetic Cheerstick *Sell it buy a new one from the NPC its better Things you should know when youre an Assist ------------------------------------------- -You can only cast spells when youre Equipped with a stick -A knuckle lets you wear a Shield, and use offensive non magical skills -Increasing your Int and skill level, will effect Buffer skills duration and and improves the buffs -No targets spells are self cast, so If your figthting an enemy and need to heal yourself cancel your targer first by pressing "Esc" then cast. -You can go two ways for a 2nd job A Ringmaster(RM) or Billposter(BP). -RM is the support type while BP is more on offensive -Sticks dont affect your spell cast they just let you cast them. So buying new sticks wont matter if your a knuckle Type -Sticks has +30 to hit so you wont miss as often as using knuckles when you have low dex. but knuckles are stronger -Stat point are permanent Skill Tree ---------- Heal ---- Prerequisite: Char lv 15 Description : Recover Target's HP MP Usage : 17 Mastery Lv : 20 Patience -------- Prerequisite: Char lv 18, Heal lv 3 Description : Increases Target's Max HP MP Usage : 20 Mastery Lv : 20 Resurrection ------------ Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Patience lv 4 Description : Revives Target Player, HP reovery depends on skill lv MP Usage : 35 Mastery Lv : 20 Circle Healing -------------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Resurrection lv 4 Description : A Heal all skill (By "all" I mean party members) MP Usage : 45 Mastery Lv : 20 Prevention ---------- Prerequisite: Char lv 30, Circle Healing lv 4 Description : May Save you from one hit critical kill MP Usage : 35 Mastery Lv : 20 Quick Step ---------- Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Heal lv 3 Description : Increases Running/Walking speed MP Usage : 30 Mastery Lv : 20 Haste ----- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Quick Step lv 3 Description : Increases Attack Speed MP Usage : 45 Mastery Lv : 20 Cat's Reflex ------------ Prerequisite: Char lv 28, Haste lv 4 Description : Increases Evasion MP Usage : 45 Mastery Lv : 20 Cannon Ball ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 35, Cat's Reflex lv 4 Description : Increases DEx (+1 per skill level) MP Usage : 25 Mastery Lv : 20 Mental Sign ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 18, Heal lv 3 Description : Increases INT (+1 per skill level) MP Usage : 25 Mastery Lv : 20 Heap up ------- Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Mental Sign lv 4 Description : Increases STA (+2 per skill level) MP Usage : 22 Mastery Lv : 20 Beef Up ------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Heap Up lv 4 Description : Increases STR (+1 per skill level) MP Usage : 30 Mastery Lv : 20 Accuracy ------- Prerequisite: Char lv 30, Beef Up lv 4 Description : Increases your Hit Ratio MP Usage : 45 Mastery Lv : 20 Tamping Hole - Knuckle Skill ------------ Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Heal lv 3 Description : A basic charge skill attack FP Usage : 20 Mastery Lv : 20 Stone Hand ---------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Tamping Hole lv 4 Description : An attack with a chance to Stun (@) MP Usage : 30 Burst Crack - Knuckle Skill ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 28, Stonehand lv 4 Description : An Area of Effect Skill or (AoE) FP Usage : 20 Mastery Lv : 20 Power Fist - Knuckle Skill ---------- Prerequisite: Char lv 35, Burst Crack lv 4 Description : FP Usage : 30 Mastery Lv : 20 ================= Magician [MAG] ================= Magic users. You depend mostly on your Int and MP. You control the 5 elements to exploit your enemies weakness and to dispose it as quikly as possibly. One of the most high damaging characters but also one of the most delicate. Job Change Quest ---------------- -Talk to Juria and select Magician class. You need to go talk to Mule now. -Mule is northeast of Masa. He will tell you to retrieve his book from Marche -After retrieving the book, he will then again ask you to retrive another one also from Marche -Marche will inform you that the book is torn and you need the missing pages which was taken away by Demians. -Go and hunt the Demians till you obtain 10 Torn Pages (Special Items). Things you Should know when youre a Magician -------------------------------------------- -Unlike Mercenary class you rely more on your skills to gain lvls. and as you use those skill they to level up taking away your pxp. -So basically leveling up a Magician is no walk in the park, it is one of the most challenging and high maintenance character of the game. You dont just need character Int, player must also use theyre own Intelligence to cope up. -Remember that you can prevent a skill from leveling up. This is helpful for faster leveling up that way you wont get deductions from pxp. plus every level up of skill may also result in higher mp cost. -Always do the Quests, Exchange Vital pots for Refreshers, always go for the bargain -Partying although not required, can save you a lot of penyas, since you will save on food -Staffs are two handed Melee Weapons while Wands single handed and are Ranged(charged) weapons and also lets you wear a shield. -Int is the Main Factor for Magic skill damage -Remember the Elements: Water < Lightning < Earth < Wind < Fire < water For me to remember this easily I just think of it as this way (^_^) THE DESTRUCTION CYCLE (^_^) Water conducts Electricity ; Electricity is grounded by Earth Earth is scattered by Wind ; Wind fuels Fire Fire is Extinguished by Water Skill Tree ---------- Mental Strike ------------- Prerequisite: Char lv 15 Description : A non Elemental Magical Attack MP Usage : 15 Mastery Lv : 20 Fire Boomerang -------------- Prerequisite: Char lv 18, Mental Strike Lv 3 Description : A Fire Based Magic Attack MP Usage : 25 Mastery Lv : 20 Hot Air ------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Fire Boomerang Lv 5 Description : Burns Enemy causing it to loss HP (Really Slowly) Its like lighting a Match only Slower MP Usage : 25 Mastery Lv : 20 Fire Strike ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 30, Hot Air Lv 7 Description : High Fire-Based Attack, Makes Target vulnerable to Wind Attacks. MP Usage : 40 Mastery Lv : 20 Sword Wind ---------- Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Mental Strike Lv 5 Description : A Wind Based Magic Attack MP Usage : 25 Mastery Lv : 20 Strong Wind ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Sword Wind Lv 5 Description : Just as the name implies, A strong wind Attack that can even push enemy back MP Usage : 30 Mastery Lv : 20 Wind Cutter ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 30, Strong Wind Lv 7 Description : An even more powerful wind attack MP Usage : 40 Mastery Lv : 20 Ice Missile ----------- Prerequisite: Char lv 20, Mental Strike lv 3 Description : A water Based Magic that may cause enemy to slow down MP Usage : 25 Mastery Lv : 20 Water Ball ---------- Prerequisite: Char lv 25, Ice Missile Lv 5 Description : ...
