After playing the game non-stop I have discovered that the best formation to play in the game is a custom made 3-2-4-1 or as some people know it 3-6-1. I'm not going to tell you anymore about it but what I will say is just think of Brazil in real life and the way the team and players play. I have made Carlisle the biggest club in the world in just 6 seasons. Also good players are: Rudy Carlier, Samir Nasri, Isaah Eliakwu, Cesc Fabregas, Jose Reyes and Igor Akinfeev.

Right, here's the deal. You take over a really good team, and want to improve it just that little bit more, and you find out that they hardly even have any money! Well, here's what you do. Take over Chelsea as a different user, and then search for the team you started off with when you are Chelsea’s manager. You will find a pretty crap player soon enough, so buy him for all the money Chelsea has, this way you are controlling both sides of the deal, and after the deal is done, you can just retire as chelseas manager! Then you can do this again with someone like real Madrid.

buy yakabu on a quite good team he costs about 7-8 mill he just couldnt stop scoring for me. Conal platt (liverpool) is quite good for championship teams but he dint do well for me in the prem.

Buy Daniel Bierofka from Leverkusen! He only costs £450k and I had him for 2 seasons with man city and the only time he got below 8/10 was when he got injured in the 6th min, and even then he got 7! (play him on the left wing, his rubbish on the right).

Sign these young hot shot players as soon as poss, but on the tranfer screen go to transfer and change it to end of season. this way you get time to build up your finances so you can have them all. also by doing it this way it gives them time to get a years playing expirence and better ratings, BUT THERE ALL YOURS!! and for a good price, as there value goes up from the start of the game. if you leave these players untill the second season every other top club wants them and you will have to pay much much for them.

This may seem like a lot of money to spend but what an investment! as all these players will be worth upwards of 20m after 2 years, and your never lose a game again!
And if things get tight you can always sell them on for a nice little profit as you wont be sort of takers.

If you want a massive wage budget for a team, choose your team and add new user and be the manager of Chelsea give your team 30-40 million for a rubbish player and you will have a wage budget of around 25,000 to 60,000. That's what I had, it may or my not be different.

Since the first championship manager I have been trying to find the best formation it took me a couple of years, but I found that the best one is 4 in defence, 3 in midfield, 2 in attacking midfield (centre) and 1 striker.
