Secret - Just a few gems of players

I took on the Doncaster Rovers Managers job at the start of the game. I immediately got promoted to The Championship, then to the Prem via playoff failure followed by automatic promotion. I have just started season 2012/13 and am current Prem, FA Cup and European Cup Holder.

I have not made wholesale changes every season, nor have I used any cheats (with the exception of ensuring I'd got £5 million in the bank at the start of my first season). But I thought I'd give you a few names of players I've signed that do a fantastic job without being obvious big names. These are players picked up whilst I was in the Championship or Div 1 who are still cutting the mustard in the Prem and Europe. Louis Castles (Striker picked up from Portsmouth Reserves)- lots of goals, high ratings and dubbed 'The New Michael Owen'. Jan Vertonghen DM/MLC - from Anderlecht I think, very cheap, incredibly consistent and still keeping established real world class players out of the side despite coaches not fancying him. I won't swap him! Liam Flavell AM/LC from Liverpool reserves - young, potentially gifted. Paulo (Brazilian DC), again very young - "wonderkid" rating. Silva (AM/FC Portugese U-21 from Porto or Benfica)had him one season, sent him on loan to Crystal Palce then sold him to Chelsea for £15 million! Only made about 3 appearances for me! Bargain!!!!

I play an adapted 4-4-2 with an AMC behind the front 2 and a DMC in Centre Midfield Slot. My team is made up mostly of players under 25 with a couple of older heads in there.

Good Players even tho' many are bargain basement signings and 'real-world unknowns'. Highlight of my game so far - A European Cup Semi-Final 5-0 win away at Barcelona with goals from Castles (2), Vertonghen (2) and Brandy!
