 If you want a really expensive player for free follow this walkthrough.

When starting a new game, take control of a really high level team, then take control of
another team with players you want and take as many teams so you can get all players. once
you have done that, with you high level team make offers of £0 for the players you want
at the other teams you took over and then when you go to the other team screen you accept
the offer. once you have accepted all offers go back to your team making offers and offer
contracts. They should just about always accept and there you go, world class players for
free!
