Hydro Thunder Cheats

Ever noticed a boost power-up that's just hanging there in the air with no perceivable way to get to it? All you need to do is boost jump! Just hold the brake and while holding the brake (should be holding the brake for less than 1/2 a second) press and hold boost for about 1/2 a second. This is incredibly useful on the hard-level track, Venice Canals. There is a small section of the track where there is a 90 degree left hand turn followed immediately by a right U-turn and then a 90 degree left turn. You can actually jump over the barrier that "forces" you to do that unnecessary U-turn. Successfully leaping that barrier can shave almost 5 seconds off your final time and may be what wins you the race. Also, near the beginning of the track, there will be a 9-sec boost power-up that is in the middle of an overhead bridge. If you manage to jump through it, not only will you receive a large boost, but there is a shortcut that you will almost always go through because the landing from the bridge jump puts you right on course for the beginning of the shortcut.

On the track Far East When you get to the piece of lava that is shooting up in the air jump of the jump that is just before it and go through the lava and you will get an extra 9 second speed boost.
