How do you get enough coins to appear to get unlock 9 in golden quest

I have been playing this game for a few weeks. Now all of a sudden the screen freezes , the timer keeps going but i can't get the screen to move. I am doing really well so i hope the solution isn't reloading the game. Any suggestions?

How do i get more gold coins to fall onto the screen? I can't get enough to open up all the squares.

Playing Jewel Quest 3 on windows 7 but progress is not saved so you start right from the beginning no matter what. Have seen similar questions answered, stating that it autosaves when you complete a board BUT it doesn't. Anyone got the answer. THanks
