I have completed the new student misssion and now it will not unlock the next level do i need to complete the first levels all the way through hard first or what

You know I am having the same problem, but it is with level 6. I completed it, it said I
succeeded, but when I go to new game, it has level 7 locked. I've been doing them all on
medium because it won't let me change it to hard.
