how do i get more money from the road side stands and make more of a selection of food to sell

The way i see it you have to eaither focus on farming and ranching or your road side stand
for the beggining of the game. you start out with 2 people and hiring people cost too much
at the begining of the gameso the easiest way to make money is to just buy a few gardens
or greenhouses or honey bee hives(make the most) and set both of your people to auto and
they will just do all of the work without you even having to do anything
