Cant get down console


Hi all, I have an problem i never have had before with steam games, I cant get console to drop down in Left 4 Dead.
Tried to add <+bind ~ toggleconsole> to an extra shortcut to see if that helped, but no.

Any suggestions?
PS: yes, I have enabled Dev Console trough Option > Mouse/ Keyboard

how to you get the console to work??


hi i cant even get my console to work do you know why?

i have enabled it in opions mouse and keyboard!

please help me!

theres nothing even i add it on Default_something.

i dunno


I have the same problem, i wrote -console in the start options, if you right click L4D in
steam, choose the last thing, then "choose Startup commands" or something


BUT, if i start the game the console is there but it dissapear if i click something except
the console.!!

here what should you done to get your console


first. go to options
second. click the keyboard/mouse
third. enable the ALLOW DEVELOPER CONNSOLE

and thats it.

10 year old know everything about l4d!


look at the top left corner of your keyboard. you see the escape button look down one key
and you see the commas the such and you will have the consle.
