Code - Developer Console Cheats

At the main menu, select "Options", then "Keyboard/Mouse". Enable "Allow Developers Console". During gameplay, press "~" to access the console, then input the cheat.

tongue_range	(Default 750) Sets the maximum range of the smoker's tongue attack
z_pounce_damage X	amount of damage you want to do to survivors
z_witch_burn_time	Amount of time before a burning Witch dies from fire (does not effect caused by fire)
z_health	Change zombie health
z_speed	Change Zombie speed
director_no_human_zombies 0/1	Disables/enables controllable Boss Infected on any map
director_panic_forever 0/1	Enables/Disables never ending panics
director_force_panic	Forces a panic event
give ammo	Full Ammunition
give pistol	Get pistol
impulse 101	Give Ammo to your primary weapon
give autoshotgun	Give auto shotgun

Ent_Remove	Removes all bots
z_witch_damage	Sets the amount of damage a Witch's attack does
thirdperson_mayamode	sets the camera to be fixed in place whle in either third person or third person shoulder mode. Enter once to turn on and enter again to turn off
thirdperson	sets the camera to be in third person mode
thirdpersonshoulder	sets the camera to over the shoulder third person mode
z_common_limit	sets the maximum amount of regular zombies
z_tank_health	sets the maximum health of the tank
z_frustration_lifetime	sets the number of seconds until the player loses control of the tank from not attacking survivors
sb_friendlyfire	sets whether or not bots (and only bots) are allowed to do friendly fire damage
director_stop	Shuts off all wanderers, mobs, specials, and bosses
z_spawn zombie	spawn 1 zombie
boom	spawn a active pipebomb under you
z_spawn	spawn a special infected
z_spawn mob	spawn a zombie horde
z_spawn boomer	spawn boomer at location of crosshair

Secret - Baseball Bat

The ingame weapon, the Baseball bat can only be unlocked by Pre-order of the game.

If not pre-ordered, you can use the Baseball bat in a online game, hosted by a person who did pre-order it, but only for that game.

PRICE CHOPPER	Survive the Dead Center campaign.
QUALIFIED RIDE	As the Jockey, ride a Survivor for more than 8 seconds.

Password - How to make the cheats work for left 4 dead 2

ENABLE CHEAT CONSOLE:

1. First you must activate the Developers Console: you do this at the main menu, select Options, then Keyboard/Mouse. Enable Allow Developers Console.
2. While playing the game on any difficulty level, press the tilde key (which looks like ~ on your keyboard) to display the console window. After you enable the cheat console, type Sv_Cheats 1? and then press ENTER. This will enable the cheat mode. After that enter the following codes and hit ENTER to activate them. Now go directly to the cheat codes list below.
3. On the Steam control panel, Right Click with your mouse on the Left 4 Dead 2 option, and select Properties under the My Games tab. In the General tab, select Set Launch Options, enter -console in that field, and accept it. Start the game, and the console window should appear. Enter bind p toggleconsole as a console command. Close the console window, and start a single player game. While playing the game, press P to display the console window, then enter sv_cheats 1 and press ENTER to enable cheat mode. Look at the bottom for a list of map names. * (If the message Cant use cheats now; please exit to main menu and start your own server with map mapname so that you can enable cheats. appears, enable the map c5m1_waterfront or map c5m2_park code. You will return to the main menu. Enable either map code again, then enable the sv_cheats 1 code again.

Glitch - Float

This glitch can be performed to reach places in survival mode, where the zombies can't reach.

Grab a pipe-bomb before the round starts.

Go to a high place in the map, and stand right on the ledge.

You must have a non-shotgun weapon as your primary for this.

Throw the Pipe-bomb at your feet, and begin contentiously switching weapon, fast.

As long as you are switching weapons, you will float, but only in the direction you began in.

In Dark Carnival: Level 4, find the Whack-A-Mole type arcade game. Attack it with a melee weapon and destroy it to get the "Stache Whacker" achievement.

Secret - Easy "Guardin' Gnome" achievement

In Dark Carnival: Level 2, find the shooting range. Score over 500 points to make a garden gnome appear. Carry the gnome to the end of the level and board the chopper to get the "Guardin' Gnome" achievement.
