Everytime I get past the flowers to float up on the ledge in the Dark Tower level, my game freezes. Is there anyway around this? Or do I have to find some other way to get past it? I've read that playing in 2 player mode is a way to get past it, but (dumb question) how to you exit 2 player mode on the PC? Thanks for any help :)

I can't get onto the balcony on the left. I have the pile of books and the levitating book but I just can't jump from the book to the pile. I have tried jumping from every part of the book at every angle and it is IMPOSSIBLE. Am I missing something?
