In the canteen area in extras, there is a picture of yoda and it says 'Use Old Save'
what is that about? every time I try and access a previously saved game, it says,'Old Save Not Found'

I can not get rid of the shield. I have tried shooting at the sides of it with the gun, but the guns won't shoot upwards to the source of the shield. Can I get some more details on how to get rid of the shield other than "get in the gun and shoot at it".
