Minecraft-Nether Crash


So i'm playing technic pack and i go in my portal to the nether, then i mine some glowstone (for philosopher's stone) and i go in the portal and my game closes? My computer is crappy i use 32 bit and i normally player on normal & tiny. Anybody have any idea why it's closing? :) if so pls reply
