Every time I try to enter a guild I get tossed out of the game. This is very annoying as I enjoy this game very much. Am I the only one with this problem or is there a patch or something?

Depends on how well you are doing. You need to keep up your status within the town. If
noone likes you means the guilds won't like you either. You must atleast make an attempt
to continue trading even if its just selling the looted goods from ships. ;)
