BeSt pokemon to start with

Choose CHARMANDER!!!!! I did and later in the game he helped me ALOT!!! When he evolves into Charmeloen his speed ands attack and sp. attack are high! Charmander may be hard to train in the gyms but to get by Viridian forest! He will destroy those annoying bug trainers. When he gets to level 13 he learns metal claw which will help you get through Brock's gym.
