Walkthrough - The Poptropica Guides - Issue 1 - Early PoptropicaTHE POPTROPICA GUIDES - ISSUE 1 - EARLY POPTROPICA INTRO Hello and welcome to the Poptropica Guides. In the Poptropica Guides, you'll learn how to complete the islands easily and quickly. There is also bonus information and alternate routes if needed. Issue One will talk about the first island, Early Poptropica Island. Note: Many "alerts" are found throughout the guide. One of those many "alerts" is a Without a Guide. The Without a Guides will tell you many things not noted in the real guide, and how what you're supposed to do is hinted. GUIDE PART 1: THE OLD PART OF TOWN Go into Early Poptropica if you are not already on it. When entering Early Poptropica, you will unlock the area "Main Street" on your map. Main Street has three villagers, an art museum, a leaking water tower, and two common rooms: the Soda Pop Shop and the arcade. One of the citizens will say that the old part of town is having trouble. This refers to Early Poptropica. Go right to enter "The Old Part of Town". The area "Early Poptropica" will be unlocked on your map. In Early Poptropica, all the citizens are pixelated and are similar to the Pilgrims. In Early Poptropica, there should be exactly five citizens. Talk to the third Early Poptropican. He will say that a nasty old spider stole his prized pig. The fourth Early Poptropican can be located behind the third one. Talking to him will reveal that someone stole their water bucket. Next to the fourth villager is a rope. Climb up the rope to find the fifth Early Poptropican. Talking to him, it is revealed that the signal flag that tells boats that they could come is missing! It is up to you to find the three items: the pig, the bucket, and the signal flag. PART 2: GLOWSTICKS ARE COOL Jump off of the tower that the fifth villager is on and head into the well. Entering the well will reveal the area "Storage Cavern" on your map. Near the entrance/exit is a box. If you push the box down it will put weight onto a seesaw-like platform. Put the box in the center of the platform. This will allow you to jump to another seesaw-like platform. Basically you have to do the same thing with this platform as you did with the first. The box is above a rope located above the first seesaw platform. The difference from the second platform from the first is that you must put the box on the right side of the platform. This will allow you to jump onto a third seesaw-like platform. Luckily, you do not need a box for this platform. Now go onto an immobile wooden platform and keep jumping up until you reach the item "Glow Stick". Now exit the well. WITHOUT A GUIDE: If you go all the way down in the Storage Cavern, you could find a diver. Talking to him will reveal that a glowstick can be found near the top left of the cavern. PART 3: AFRAID OF SPIDERS Now go to Main Street and enter the sewers. This will lead into an area called "The Pit". In The Pit is a girl who will tell you that hopefully you're not afraid of spiders. Going down The Pit, many spiders can be found. Luckily they can be easily dodged, and they cannot really harm you as in Poptropica, you cannot lose health or die, with an exception of most boss fights and some mini games. If you go all the way down, you can find a large, ugly, green spider guarding the stolen pig. You can easily dodge the spider by jumping over it or going around it to obtain your prize: "The Prized Porker". PART 4: DEAD ENDS There is another accessible cavern that you can go in from the left of The Pit. You can enter the cave by going through the sewer of "Poptropica Towers" or simply going through the entrance in The Pit. This area is called "Dark Room". Normally this room is very dark, but since you have your glowstick, there is a light coming from you. The Dark Room is a large maze, but it is pretty easy. There are many vines found throughout the maze and a ton of writing on the wall, including "Dead End" and "Wrong Way". Somewhere in the heart of the maze, you should find a "Golden Egg". This is the only item you need from the Dark Room. Now go all the way up and go up the vine leading to Poptropica Towers. PART 5: YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW The area above the Dark Room is "Poptropica Towers". It is left of Main Street. In the Poptropica Towers, you must go up the rightmost building and go across every building till you reach the top of the last building, which is a rooftop restaurant. There is also a vine here. Go up the vine to go into the clouds. The area the vine leads to is literally above the clouds. The area is called "The Purple Giant". The reason for that is a purple giant reside here. He is blocking your path with his club and you must give him his stolen Golden Egg. Luckily, you have the Golden Egg from the Dark Room, so the giant will allow you to pass. PART 6: FLY HIGH The area located right of The Purple Giant is called "Giant's Garden". Many giant foods are located here, including a tomato, pumpkin, and watermelon. All you have to do here is go right to pick up the "Water Bucket". Now go right again to head into "Aircraft Graveyard". Going right will be an airplane with spinning propellors. The propellors will allow you to glide. Fly above a rocket to get the item "Jetpack". The jetpack will be put on your back immediately and you can now officially fly. Go back to the Giant's Garden and fly above the giant spade, making sure you don't fly onto the above vine. There is an exit behind the spade which leads to the top of the water tower in Main Street. The item "Signal Flag" is up here! Now you have all three items. ALTERNATE ROUTE: An alternate route to get to the Signal Flag is to head back the normal way and go into Poptropica Towers. Then go right to Main Street and fly to the top of the water tower with your jetpack. Either way, you get what you need. PART 7: THE END OF THE LINE Head back to Early Poptropica and talk to the third Early Poptropican. You will return the pig. Now talk to the fourth Early Poptropican. You will return the bucket. Then talk to the fifth Early Poptropican to return the flag. Now go right to find a ship docked at the harbor. The flag made it come here! Talk to the Early Poptropican on the ship and he will give you the "Early Poptropica Medallion". ALTERNATE ROUTE: There is a possible chance that the boat will not be there right away. To make it appear, simply head to Main Street and back to Early Poptropica. The ship should be there. If it is still not there, try another time. If it's still not there, try it one final time. If it's still not there, just give up. Restart the island by pressing "Restart Island" on your map screen. Just do the island over again, it's not that hard. ITEMS GLOW STICK: This item lights up the dark. It it found in "Storage Cavern". GOLDEN EGG: This item had to be returned to the purple giant. It is found in "Dark Room". JETPACK: This item allows the player to fly, but only in Early Poptropica. It is found in "Aircraft Graveyard". PRIZED PORKER: This pig was stolen from the Early Poptropicans. It is found in "The Pit". WATER BUCKET: This bucket was stolen from the Early Poptropicans. It is found in "Giant's Garden". SIGNAL FLAG: This flag was stolen from the Early Poptropicans. It is found in "Main Street". EARLY POPTROPICA MEDALLION: This is rewarded to the player when they complete Early Poptropica Island. It is found in "Early Poptropica". FOR FUN BOUNCING ON THE CLOTHES LINES In Poptropica Towers, you can bounce on the clothes lines connecting the buildings. This is noted by a skateboarder that is on the surface. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SKIN? In Poptropica Towers, there is a balloon man selling five balloons. Clicking on the balloons changes your skin color. Your original skin color is always the balloon on the bottom left. BURNING In Early Poptropica, touching the fire near the entrance recieves a comment from your player. The player says that the fire is hot. Wasn't that a bit obvious? JACK AND THE BEANSTALK In Early Poptropica, you climb a vine to head to a purple giant who wants a stolen golden egg. A castle can be found in the background. This is all a reference to the popular kids' story Jack and the Beanstalk. HIDDEN COSTUMES HYPNOTIZER A hidden "Hypnotizer" costume is found in Early Poptropica. The location will not be stated in the guide, but we'll tell you this: It is located in Poptropica Towers by clicking a certain window pane. OUTRO Well, that's it for Issue 1. Hopefully it turns out okay. Well, we have nothing else to say, so bye! |
