I'm finding some difficulties in migrating from 2 to 3. First, how in
the hell do you make money? After 5 years, my available cash goes
into the red, my investors get mad, and kick me out. Second, it seems
that cities do not produce mail and passengers when the game starts
(I'm trying the Mississippi Valley scenario starting in either 1850 or
60). Third, where are the cargos coming from (i.e. it seems like the
industries [if any] in a town are producing cargos without being
supplied by a resource)? I'm getting loads of corn and milk on my
train without serving an industry that produces these commodities.
