I have just started playing RCT3 (with exp packs) and I found an already completed water slide (The Frightful Funnel) which I used. But I need some kind of stairs so that the guests can go up to the "starting point" and start riding the slide.

The problem is: I cannot get any kind of stairs to work. The only one spiral stairs I found, had to be attached to pool areas, but the water slide could only be placed on grass. That means, I could attach the stairs to the water slide, but I could not attach the stairs onto the ground.

Also, the last pair of stairs closest to the ground, had a fence around it. The guests could not climb over the fence.
