How to Complete Shield of Arrav
(I must be able to kill a lvl23 Weaponmaster and a lvl 2 person)
(100 gp and another player who has not done the quest)
To start this quest, talk to Reldo in the Varrok Palace Library. Then search all the
Bookcases until you find a book clled the Shield of Arrav. Read it and the choose which
side you want to be on.
NOTE: YOU MUST BE IN THE OPPOSITE GANG YOUR FRIEND IS IN. NOW CHOOSE WHICH SIDE:
The Pheonix Gang
Now ask Reldo if he know anything about this gang. But he won't tell you anything. Now go
to Varock square and talk to Baraek. Give him 20 gp so he will tell you information of the
phoenix gang. Now go to the pheonix hideout. (located south-east Varrock - south of east
bank) Go down the ladder and talk to Straven. To join you'll need to kill somebody in the
blue moon inn. The blue moon inn is west from were you just came. (if you cant find it
check the map and look for the beer sign)
In the inn kill a guy called Johny the beard (lvl2) and pick up the report he drops. Go
back to Straven in the hide out and give it to him. Straven will give you the key to the
hideout. Get to the back of the hideout and search the chest to get a half of the shield
of Arrav. Now you need to help your friend. Go out the hideout and go to the door just
next to the hideout ladder. Go up the ladder and kill the lvl 23 weapon master. Now grab
the 2 phoenix crossbows from the floor and give these to your friend. Now take the Shield
to the Museum. (Northeast of Varrok Square) Give it to the Curater and ask him for 2 half
certificates.
The Black Arm Gang
Talk to Charlie the Tramp who can be found south of the sword shop in Varrock. Talk to him
and ask about the ally behind him. He will say that the black arm hideout is there. After
that ask if they would let you join. Now walk west into the ally and find a door that will
lead to the hide out. Talk to Katrine and tell her that you know where their hideout is.
Now ask If you can join the gang and she will tell you to steal 2 phoenix crossbows. If
you're friend did the Phoenix part he should have the Phoenix crossbows. Give them to
Katrine and she will make you part of the gang. Now go upstairs in the hideout and search
the cupboard to find a half of the shield of Arrav. Now take the Shield to the Museum.
(Northeast of Varrok Square) Give it to the Curater and ask him for 2 half certificates.
AFTER BOTH PARTS ARE COMPLETED
Give one of your two half certificate to your friend and your friend should do the same.
Put the 2 halves together and go give it to King Roald. THERE U GO! 1 QUEST DONE!
