Guide info: This is my 6th guide. Only two others are posted on this site right
now but I'm hoping to get some more up soon. This guide is mostly me and my
friends opinions on making money. Of course other guides that I have read are
around this same rating.

Hello, this is my 6th guide and 3rd guide posted on this site! Today we will be
focusing on runescape, an online internet game! Online internet games are
unique because you can actually talk to the other people playing the game.
Today’s topic is one of the most needed objects on online internet games…
Money! Everybody in online games is hovering over one main goal... To get MORE
money!!! Once everyone has MORE money they get A LOT MORE money! This continues
on and on forever in a continuing pattern on and on forever repeating over and
over until everyone feels like they should continue on and on, over and over
continuingly forever, on and on continuously… Yes the worlds need for money
will never stop but I have a few tricks up my sleeve to be top of the internet,
ruler of all online games… (In other words; getting more money than anyone else)

Counting money
----------------
There are many ways of counting money in real life. In real life you have: 1
penny, a nickel, a dime, a quarter, a dollar, 5 dollars, 10 dollars, 20
dollars, 50 dollars, 100 dollars… In the online world you only have: 1 coin…
yes there is quite a bit difference isn’t there.
Of course people have separated these coins and made packs of: 1 coin, 1,000
coins, 2,000, 3,000 etc. This goes on and on forever. Of course online gamers
like to shorten things for you. (Or for themselves) Here is a short story of a
guy who played runescape one day:
****Yay! I just completed the tutorial! Hmmm… I better check out the hotline of
new objects. Wow, if I hunt a little I can wear the steel armor. Hmmm… there’s
one person selling steel full body for 2 coins, and there’s someone selling it
for 1.5 coins! Hey, there’s my friend! He’s trading me…
Yay! He’s giving my full steel body! Two whole sets. I call him up and thank
him. Ring, ring… "Hey thanks for steel body! No problem buddy. Bye, I got some
homework to do." He’s so nice… I better sell one set and keep the other. Well
those other guys are selling it for 2 coins so I better sell it for the same
too. “Glow1: Selling full steel for 2 coins” I get this huge wave of trades
from everyone on the planet. I click on one and make the trade. But something
doesn’t seem right.****
Can you tell what’s wrong? Give up? Ok ill tell you. This guy is a newbie. He
just got out of tutorial. He mistook the word 2k for 2 “coins”. Here is a guide
to help you remember:
1 gp = 1 coin
etc. Up to 1,000 gp
1,000gp = 1k
This goes on up to 1,000k
1 mill (or M) = 1000k
Goes on forever.
This is normally as high as people on the internet count. Here is a list of
what the abbreviations really are meant to represent:
Gp = Some people call them different things.
What I know it as is Gold Penny.
K = I don’t know about this one or how it got started
but it means 1,000 of anything. Not just money. You
could  say “Selling 1k rune ess, 30 gp each” and would saying the same
thing    as “selling 1,000 rune ess, 30 gp each”
Mill = Just the first four letters of million. Because mill
stands for million! In your inventory or bank it will show up as M.
Don’t be fooled into buying for high price or selling for low price and you’ll
be fine! Now you know what they meant to say when they say 2k…

Buying money via online

To start you should take a look at yourself and find out what you really need.
If you buy too much then money in real life will go down and you’ll have way
too much. Figure out what armor you need. Such as: I have full steel. I’m lvl
20 in defense, I want mithrl, and I want to buy a mithrl sword to so I need to
hunt more to get my attack lvl up. I should probably go with buying about 20 –
30k. You always want extra incase of scam, hacking and other things such as
dieing.
Yes. The easiest way to loose money is to die. Usually, all the money in your
inventory gets dropped! Well, buying money online is a good way to make money.
But most people who sell it are scammers! You usually buy it, and then he gets
your money and he never shows up in the place he said he would. Here is an
example:

Well, it never comes… And never will! lol! I will never buy anything online.
sometimes this happens. Actually most you do get a fair deal and it works
out perfectly! You get money and he gets… well, money! Well, if you want
to risk it, here is a tip…
“Buyers beware”
You don’t want to buy 1 coin for $50! That’s a scam. Usually You could buy 1M
for $10. That’s a fair deal. Here is a list of stuff that will help you:
1M = $10
2M = $15
3M = $30
5M = $45
10M = $100
20M = $150
30M = $220
I hope this helps and tells you never to buy anything online! Also. If they
don’t give you a contact number to E-mail them or something. There usually
scammers. Don’t do it! Of course if you do get it. It’s the best way of making
money! NOTE: I will never attempt this…

Best ways to make money

Hello and welcome to the best part of this guide… Making money, the fun way!
Well some ways aren’t fun, but I’ll list all the ones that I really think are
kind of fun to do.  There are eight ways to make money that I have listed as
“make money fast”. These ones can be done faster than most. Such as: Mining
rune ess and mining ores. I will tell you about how fast you can make money in
time and on a scale of 1-10! This section also contains other details telling
you exactly witch one you want to use to make money. You, can even E-mail me at

and I have listed them wrong! I’m looking forward to a full inbox on messages
about almost anything concerning runescape money!

1. SELLING RUNE ESSENCE

Time: You can make about 10k every 45 minutes if your only mining rune ess.
Time (scale of 1-10): 10

How to, guide:
STEP 1: DOING THE QUEST
First you need to do a short quest. No fighting is required. You’re just like a
messenger boy! It’s called Rune Mysteries quest. You can either look it up in
your quest guide or I can tell you right now! You can start this quest by
talking to the duke of lumbridge. He will give you an air talisman. Then head
over to the church of lumbridge and proceed through the cemetery gates into the
lumbridge swamp. Head straight forward and kill some giant rats until you see
the ocean. follow the beach until you come to a large bridge. Follow this up to
wizards tower. As soon as you enter go into the door on your right and into the
basement. Go through the first door you see and talk to the wizard there.  show
him your air talisman and he will tell you what to do next and give you a
research package.
Once you show him, head out of wizards tower and back to lumbridge. I suggest
using lumbridge home port. If you’re a mage then use varrock teleport if you
have it because we need to go there next. If you don’t have it, after to
teleport to lumby, walk there by stepping just outside the castle and over
a bridge to some goblins, rune down the path on the left. If you don’t know
what I mean by, “left”, then you are either very confused about these directions
or your mentally insane. For help use the sign post. Follow this path to a fork
in the road.
Take a left and continue up to varrock. Go to the town square with the
big fountain and head towards the armor shop. Follow that road till you find a
bank. The building behind the bank is a rune shop. Go inside and show the shop
keeper, Aubury the research package you got from the wizard. He will give you
some notes about whatever and tell you to go all the way back to wizards tower.
Go into the basement and show the wizard guy your package. After a few minutes
of talking you will complete the quest! Congratulations!
STEP 2: MINING AND SELLING
Now go all the way back to varrock and empty your inventory into the bank. Buy
a pick axe and equip it. (Remember to put any swords you have into the bank to)
Now talk to the Aubury guy in the rune shop. Ask him to teleport you to the
Rune Essence. In the rune essence, mine till your inventory is full then go
back to the bank and put your rune essence in your bank. Repeat this until you
have 500 rune essence in your bank. Go to world 1 and go to the bank, change
your withdrawal thing to “withdraw as note” withdraw all of them, then shout:
“Selling rune ess” once. If you get a trade. Sell them all for 10k. If not. Go
to the other bank (I’m sure you can find it). If no one is buying rune essence
there. Then go to world 2 and do it again. By now you someone should have
bought them… if not go to world 3 etc.
You can also mine and sell pure ess. It’s worth 100 ea… and rune ess is only
about 20 ea! But pure ess is members only and you need a mining lvl of 30 but
you can make money five times as fast! NOTE: It’s easier to look for a buyer
than it is to shout that you’re selling them…
2. SELLING BIG BONES

Time: Kind of fast
Time (scale of 1-10): 9
Stars: ****
Fun meter: Fun to kill boaring to sell
Fun meter (scale of 1-10): 8
Sometimes you can sell big bones for 400 ea! But you need to have a combat
level of about 65 or so if you want to do this REALLY fast! The best way to get
big bones is to kill hill giants. They drop them every time. To get to the hill
giants go to varrock and leave through the left entrance, cross the bridge and
head north to edgevill. IN a building to your right as soon as you enter is the
entrance to the dungeon. There are some level 42 monsters and such down there
so proceed with caution! Inside the dungeon keys respawn at certain areas. Pick
one up and go to the house just to the left of the cooking guild. Use the key
on the door and go inside. Climb down the latter and enter the chamber…
Inside there are hill giants. They can do massive damage! There are also earth
warriors and black dragons! So kill some hill giants and they can drop:
1.    Big bones
2.    Runes
3.    Herbs
4.    Bronze helms
So, it’s the Big Bones you can make a profit from! They go for 400 ea. Sell
them on world 1 2 or 3. That’s your best bet. collect a lot and you can make
loads of cash!
3. SELLING VALUBLES LIKE JUNK FROM YOUR BANK…

This is a very weird way of making money. To make a big profit off of this you
first need to go into your bank and grab a lot of stuff you don’t need from
when you were a newbie… “I can’t believe I saw this steel sword on the ground
and took it!” Yea, stuff like that…
Don’t load your sale with junk like bones and herbs. Things like two wheats and
other stuff that might make the buyer just want to decline your sale without
looking all the way through. This used to happen a lot to me. I would load my
sale with junk and half way through they would decline it. So, go easy on the
junk and besides, even if you do sell those goblin armours that you have in
your sale your only going to make like 20 coins each. If you have a LOT of them
you may only make 2k!
Now go to any world and just say “B sale” this means bank sale or big sale.
Some people call it a big sale and I don’t know were that came from! So now
once you’ve sold most of the valued items you can move on to the mining…
4. MINING ORES AND SMELTING/COPPER, TIN, GOLD ETC…

Fun meter: Boaring to mine all the way up to a hgih level
Fun meter (scale of 1-10): 5
Use some of your earned profit to buy mining and smelting materials. Mine over
and over again selling the ores and making a little cash. Then mine more once
your mining level is 30 or above.
30 = coal/black
40 = gold/gold bars
55 = mithrl ore/mithrl armour
70 = admant ore/admant armour
85 = runeite ore/rune armour
when you’re done with that then just keep mining a lot of ores until you think
you have enough. smelt them like tin ore, iron ore and get bars. Then use your
hammer and make some armour! Then sell this for lots of cash!

6. HUNTING HIGH LVL MONSTERS

Time (scale of 1-10): 6

Fun meter: Very fun to kill monsters, not to die trying and hard to get high
combat level
Fun meter (scale of 1-10): 8
This is kind of hard if your not a mage because to battle high level monsters,
you’ll need a lot of combat or a lot of ranging! Below is a list of monsters
that will a drop a considerable amount of money or items…
LOWER LEVEL BEASTS:
Cows:
level 2, they drop cowhides and meat that you can cook for some food. It helps
when hunting monsters… Cowhides can be bought for some money. North of
lumbridge…
Dark wizard:
level 20, they sometimes drop wizards stuff and sometimes high level runes like
elementals, natures. Found at Stonehenge, south of varrock…
Wizard:
level 9, sometimes drop wizards stuff. In wizards tower close to varrock swamp…
Chaos druid:
Location and level unknown. They can drop LOTS of laws and air runes… Sometimes
potions…
Skeletons:
Level 21, can drop iron ore and elemental runes usually only earth though… They
can be found in the varrock sewers…
Dark warrior:
level unknown, they will drop black armour and other black items… They can be
found in the wilderness near the dark nights fortress… NOT the black knights
fortress!
Hill giant:
level 28, can be found in edgevill dungeon just west of Varrock and will drop
big bones, herbs and other…
Pirate:
level unknown, will drop laws, natures and chaos runes. Sometimes an eye patch…
they lay around brimhaven.
Dwarf:
level 10, can be found in the dwarven mine. They will drop bronze bars and
runes…
HIGHER LEVEL BEASTS:
Chaos dwarf:
level unknown, location is also unknown. They can drop mithrl armour, like
plate body, legs or sometimes mithrl bars…
Moss giant:
Level unknown, drops wizards equipment RARLEY and mithrl armour…
They can be found in Ice Giants Cave…
Hero:
Drops small amounts of high level runes… Location and level unknown.
Lesser demon:
Can be found in Melzars Maze and Taverly dungeon… There is also one in wizards
tower. Level 82 and can drop LOTS of high level runes like elementals and
chaos, also drops mithrl equipment sometimes…
Greater demon:
Level unknown, location unknown, can drop lots of runes, mithrl items and
RARLEY rune helm!
Fire giant:
Location, unknown, level unknown. It drops mithrl scimitars and LOTS of high
level runes strength potions and lobsters…
Red dragon:
Location and level unknown! Drops cakes and RARLEY rune items…
Black demon: Location and level, unknown. Drops lots of rune items.
Black dragon:
Location unknown. Level 194… Drops rune items and law runes. Sometimes blood
runes…
BEST MONSTER TO kill:
King black dragon!!!
Level unknown. I heard it was 243 though… Drops 5k-12k and law runes, death
runes, blood runes, strength potions, defense potions, rune items. Lots of
other runes…
NOTE: The information on the monster above is very scratchy. I have never gone
face to face with this thing but I’ve herd some stories and I pieced together
what I could…
7. SELLING FEATHERS

Time: very slow
Time (scale of 1-10): 4

This is an easy one. Head to Varrock and on the way you’ll find a chicken farm,
kill chickens until you have about 500 feathers… You sell these for lots of
cash but it takes a long time to get all of the feathers you want to sell… You
sell feathers on world 1 for 10gp each. 500 of them will get you about 5k and
takes five times as long as mining pure ess. So feathers are a pretty bad way.
That’s why I put it last…
You can also make arrows out of feathers. These can be sold for more. Of coarse
it takes supplies and time to do that. SO I would always choose pure ess over
selling feathers… And they are so easy to get it took me ten times as long to
get a buyer selling feathers than it did ess…

Q* How many rune ess do you usually sell in one day?
A* Sometimes 250 sometimes more. Usually 250 but sometimes I just spoil myself
and sell 500.
Q* Why did you put hunting high level monsters at the second worst even though
its clearly the best?
A* You need a really high combat level to do that one so I put it towards the
end. Although if you’re a mage it would be easier…
Q* Can I send in information if I think your guide might be off in some place?
A* Yes, we always accept errors and patches on guides…
