Walkthrough - Super Help Tips To Not Get Banned And Possible Become A1. Scam Alert! Never give out your password, especially not out in the open. They are new players looking for an easy way to get rich. Oh, did you notice people saying it works? The poster logged off and commented that, look, it says ''unregistered''. They are committing a crime. All the game, characters and all belong to Jagex. You are giving away somebody else's account when you do that. No selling, no buying. If you don't buy accounts, people will stop. Most of the accounts sold/bought are banned anyway. Another scam is someone messages you saying: ''Congrats! You're a mod! I'll see if you're in the system *player logs out for a minute* Sorry, the computers are down (you would not be playing the game if they were), I'm gonna have to do it the old fashion way. Give me your password so I can log on and make you a mod.'' That, is a scam. There are 3 ways you can tell. 1. Jagex staff don't need you to tell them your password! All the passwords are on the not broken down computers! 2. If the computers were down, you wouldn't be playing, would you? Nope! 3. If you look at the message center, it says Jagex staff will not contact you. You will have a message in the message center!!! And last, gem, cutting is not always a scam, you might want to test it first. Try asking them to cut one of their own or SELL them one, then ask them to cut it. If they say they can't do either for some reason or another, its probably a scam. Some ''gem cutters'' are new players trying to get ome gold. 2. Money Some people are generous, and give away 1-10k every day. But that doesn't mean they will give you stuff by begging. It actually makes them want to give you stuff LESS. Try going to banks and see if someone is playing a game. Some experienced players get bored and give away stuff for winning (I would know, I happened to come in during one and one 10 raw lobbs and addy pl8 armor, and no, I'm not selling). You can also go around playing quests, or wait for a random event, or both! I have found that while standing around for 30 minutes I went to about 10 random events! They can give you money, items, but if you get something untradable/unsellable, don't worry, events always happen more than once! You can also try making weapons and armor, or cutting trees. It takes only a little while to get to wood chopping level 30! You can get a lot of money from selling hundreds of willows and yews! Willows are 2-4g per log and yews are 10-12g per log. Both usually have a ton of logs too. You can make weapons starting at bronze, which, later on will start to sell for a lot too! The best part of that is you get to wear what you make and if you lose it you can make it again! 3. Becoming a Player Moderator As mentioned earlier, people cannot make you a mod with the wave of a hand (but Jagex staff can do it with the click of a key, but they won't ask you your pass). You have to earn the privelege. How do you become a player moderator? You have to respect the rules and other players, report any wrong doings, but make sure first that they are actually doing something wrong, look into the situation. What Jagex does is they check game records or do something like that to see who becomes a player mod. Like I said, you have to respect other players and the rules. But it takes a while, you might not even become a mod, so don't get angry. If it was easy, everyone would be a mod! 4. Why don't I have one of those?/Why can't I do that? Certain items or abilities were received during special events that only happen once. Like the rubber chicken (handed out to every player in the game as an egg that hatched after the easter bunny left in easter 2005) or turning into an egg (also received on easter), or a party hat (christmas some year I forgot). I am sorry to say that if you were not on Runescape at the time you never will receive one because they are untradable. BUT DON'T GO SCAMMING OTHER PEOPLES HARD WORKED ACCOUNTS BECAUSE YOU'RE JEALOUS!!! 5. And last but not least... For the last time, you can't have boyfriends and girlfriends in Runescape! This is an MMORPG not a dating site! Its not a 2-in-1 ITS A GAME FOR PEOPLE TO PLAY! If you want a boyfriend/girlfriend, use an online search engine to look for ACTUAL DATING SITES! One more time: MMORPGS ARE NOT DATING SITES! If you would like some more help please contact me as: Dont poke Borntobore Spelled exactly as is. And please be straightforward, I'd rather be asked: Can you please help me? Rather than: Hi whats your name? I'm not giving out personal info and you shouldn't either. If you are looking for friends on RS (not bfs or gfs), visit my site, rsprofiles.1hwy.com By the way I am only an RS PLAYER, I don't work at Jagex, I donnot own Jagex, I play a game that Jagex made. |
