When i did this, i had the same problem. you have to save just before, or it'll go back
ages ago in the game. if you have this problem, exit and start thet bit again.

I got stuck there too, but the computer crashed and now i have to do everything again.
sooooooooooooooo how do you get the shoe,do you just walk up to it???
