This happened to me.
It means that your computer cant handle the graphics and will not be able to run Sims 2.
What I did- I got a new computer, although you might not want to do that...

Otherwise, get a new computer or you will not be able to play the game.

when u install the game open my computer click on the icon of the Sims 2 left click then
choose open and u will see a lot of things then open the folder crack then u will find
cheat-z,fixed and no-dvd then open the folder no-dvd install crack_sims2 or read the
readme folder beside it follow what it says then after that open the icon on your desktop
named launcer sims 2
then a folder will open then open your game if that not solve ur prolem send me a private
