When they are in their cacoon stage they can become 1 out of the 5 differnet types.
For example fly,speed,power and swim.

the more time you spend with them the more theyll evolve

no you can't all you can do is that look after them and level them up!

you can buy specil friut for them too, if you but about 10 or 11 dark fruit and give them
to a blue chao, he will become more black each fruit, and if he evolvs he will get evil
eyes :D and bat wings and a devil tail. All you have to do is care for them and they will
evolve

You may have an Hero Chao or a Dark Chao.

make a sonic chao.To make it u need a blue chao then add some of the running animals to
make it sonic.

just buy it at black market and get a neutral egg or onyx egg in the prison where you
started Amy. The egg is beside Amy's prison. Get it by using Amy.After that,just feed it
running animals and dark fruits

if you feed a chao lets say 10 hero fruit it turns into a hero chao after growing it past
an adult.

You con evolve Chao but it takes a long time, and you can know their types if you see the
spikes on the back of it's head.
