i'm on the bait mission and i got to the part to kill 2 tanker bugs and after i ...


i'm on the bait mission and i got to the part to kill 2 tanker bugs and after i kill them i'm vastly outnumbered by thousands of warrior and tiger bugs then i last till the Rino bugs then thats when i die - died like 20 - 30 times can't seem to hold out much longer then that i tried everything from shooting rockets and grenades to Area effect them but they just keep pouring in . i even used that ripper gun when one of the soldiers die from it and to no advail . i tried almost everything running, fighting , i tried to even hide behind one of the boxes hoping it whould slow down the onslaught long enough for armor my to regen and pick them off one at a time but the strength in numbers is just way to strong . i even run backwards and shoot at the same time but that only buys me 1/4 to 1/2 armor regen before they swamp me again . how do i do this mission without resorting to cheat codes ?

beating the bait mission


Hi, I had the same problem. The design of the game is flawed. I was playing in normal mode
and it was hard as hell. I was about to throw my computer out the window! :)
Ok so what you need to do is hide behind the box of crates to the right side of the door
(if you are looking at the door straight on) that you enter the area with. It is a really
tight fit but press towards it and shoot at bugs from this area. In this case, the bugs
can't gain up on you. You will need to do this becuase it takes General Howzer 5 mi***es
or more to order the bomber attack, once this is done, you have 30 secs to get into the
bunker where you came from. So what you need to do is right when you leave the safety of
the crates, hug the right wall and get to the medpack at the ammo crate, this will prolong
your life within the sea of bugs. Then run as fast as you can at the bunker. That's it! If
