Stronghold Cheats

At the main menu, press [Shift] + [Alt] + A to enable cheat mode. Then, repeatedly press one of the following codes while playing a game to activate the corresponding cheat function:

Remove the engineers from a battering ram then order
it to attack a wall or gate. The battering ram will attack its
target, but will not be attacked.

When a trebuchet or catapult runs out of stone simply select the 'launch cow' option and click as if to attack an archer or defensive unit. Now a large circle of torches will appear. Click on that same man again and the circle becomes smaller. The siege unit now launches a rock instead!

During a seige such as "Kill the Rat" or some such, if you set your archers at a spot where they aren't under attack and somewhat near the wall, have them fire at something such as a wall, gate, or tower. Immediately after, click on an enemy or building to fire upon (somewhat close to the area you targeted) and if done correctly, your archers should fire upon the new target. This is useful to make your men fire farther and keep them out of harms way.
