Carter posts don't always work?In the peacetime campaign, I've got several carter posts which I try to send goods to William's castle. Sometimes when I tell them to send continuous goods, they show that they are doing so, and sometimes they simply refuse to send the goods. If I restart the game, the next time through, different posts won't function. Sometimes, I can send wood from each post but both posts refuse to send stone, and sometimes one will send stone, but the other won't operate at all (though sometimes they will, later on, and sometimes if I reload, I seem to get different responses). I thought maybe it was only stone that wasn't working, but in reloading a few more times, I get the same problem with other goods and other posts. They also don't always send goods for single shipments, either. Is it timing? Do I need to just start the shipments in the right month, or something? Geeze-Louise! |

Answered my own question!Apparently, I just won't always see the shipment for a while. After a while, a shipment I ordered much earlier will finally show up as being shipped. Sometimes, they show up right away ... sometimes, not. So far, I haven't seen any correlation to which type of goods are being shipped, and I don't have the patience to figure out whether it has to do with timing. |

possible reasonI had the same problem in a couple of scenarios. When it happened, I could see the carter just sitting there. I had plenty of product available for shipment, but it wouldn't work. Since I had the ability to add additional carters, I deleted the non-working ones and replaced them with new carters in a different location. This seemed to work. The ones that didn't work were usually already there. |
