I think you have to catch the flying plant lower in the tower with the rope to get the
flowers in it to cover your smell, but i have no idea how to do it. Both nate and critter
say that it is too far away.

Nate has to lure down the plant with the flute, so the critter can reach it with the rope
from the balcony.

Nothing happens when nate plays the flute. Maybe i am doing it wrong. Where does he have
to play the flute and where does critter have to be?

I am having a similar problem. How do you get the plant down?

In the arch mages tower you will find a whistle on the "dresser" use that in the room
where you painted the canvas
