The Sims 3 Cheats

Enable the "testingCheatsenabled true" code, then type one of the following codes below at the console window to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Console Window- is the blue bar that appears when you press [Crtl] +[Shift]+ c

While playing the game, press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C to display the console window. Then, type one of the following codes and press [Enter] to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: In Windows Vista you may need to press [Ctrl] + [Windows] + [Shift] + C to display the console window.

1. unlockOutfits[ on or off] This cheat must be enable before entering CAS (create a sims)

2. Llamas are the triangular warning signs

3. moveObjects[on or off] This code allows you to delete objects that normally cannot be removed (for example, Sims, mailbox, garbage can). However, you cannot get those objects back. Also, when the code is used on a Sim with the "good" trait, a halo will appear on their head when you exit Buy/Build mode. It also allows you to move your Sim in or out of the house while in Buy/Build mode.

4. [on or off] Certain cheats can be turned on or off. When you enter a cheat, ex. fullscreen and you want it to play with a fulscreen then you would enter the code like this, fullscreen[on] and if you want it off you would enter it like this, fullscreen[off] . Its the same thing with [true or false] , you only enter the cheat code with on option within the [ ]. And make sure there isn't a space between the code and the [ ].

This is just a post with many things you can do on Sims that will make it a WHOLE lot easier/more fun.

You need to use Control, Shift, and C to use the codes below.

If you want a certain gender child born than you will have to do the following to your pregnant female:

Eat three apples in a row for a male.

Eat three watermelons in a row for a female.

With testingcheasenabled true on, you can drag up relationships bars (or down) or even drag your need bars up or down as well.

You can also Shift and click on a lot and you can teleport your active sim to that spot, or buy or build on that lot.

If you Shift and click on the mail box you can force a visitor (a random sim in the game), force a npc (you can choose many npc characters such as the grim reaper), make needs static (good) or dynamic (bad), make all happy, Set a career to your choice and level, make friends for the active sim, and make the active sim know everyone.

If you Shift and click on a sim (in your active household or not) you can change their traits, delete them, change their favorite music, edit them in create a sim (all options, not just what you get when changing appearance in the mirror), or trigger age transition (meaning they will automatically grow to the next stage in life).
